  • “The property was in a nice location, close to Stratford, but far enough out to be quiet, with some local amenities such as a shop and restaurants.”

The furnishings were nice and the sofas were comfy, and we liked the character of the property. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms, although the toilets used macerators and were very noisy. However, this is the most expensive 2 bedroomed property we have ever stayed in (presumably partly due to covid) and we felt there were some things lacking given the cost of the holiday. There were gaps at ceiling level between the 3 rooms which meant that noise travelled freely, making sleep difficult if anyone else was in the main living area. We felt there could have been more crockery as there were only 4 of a number of items. As it was the height of summer, an outdoor dining table and chairs with umbrella would have been a useful addition so that a meal could be eaten outside. As others have said the wifi was very poor, and we felt that the cleaning could have been better in some areas (eg the bedrooms which were dusty in places and had numerous spiders). Overall the space was quite small, probably better suited for a autumn/winter short break rather than a main summer holiday. Overall we have enjoyed our break and exploring the surrounding areas, in particular Warwick Castle which is only a 15 min drive away. Unfortunately the water taxi was not operating during our stay.

Thank you for your feedback. We do appreciate your comments and will carryout a full infantry of kitchenware and replace crockery and glasses. We will look into the layout of the property at the end of season. We do have comfortable outdoor seating for relaxing. We hope you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your feedback, Kind regards - Sykes owner relations
