    Very clean. Good space.Wonderful Veiw from all rooms. The onl thing i would say the bathroom was very small,with a tiny sink no room to put even a tooth brush. No hooks to hang a towel. The shower was good,but again very small.

    We went for Christmas and there was even a Christmas tree. Lovely views and in summer a lovely patio for sitting out. Highly recommend and if we come this way again will definitely book Walnut Cottage.

  • "Perfect position for visiting the area and in glorious open aspect farmland."

    Made to feel welcome on arrival by the owners who live next to the pair of cottages. Bedrooms wonderfully quirky and everything clean and comfortable. Would recommend it but, if you have children who need stimulation, you may need to take your own games or books and I don't think there was a DVD player.

  • "Walnut Cottage is by far the best property we have stayed at so far (this was our 3rd visit)."

    We have always booked with Sykes and have never been disappointed with the properties but in our experience Walnut Cottage stands head and shoulders above all the others. My thoughts on holiday rentals has always been if it ticks 7 out of 10 boxes then that's acceptable but this one ticks all 10. My thanks go out to the owners for providing such a great place to spend time in.

    The cottage was exceptionally clean and tidy in the every respect and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The cottage is well situated for visiting the many interesting towns and villages in the area and also walks along the Avon River nearby. We would like to thank our hosts for providing such quality accommodation and a lovely welcome pack. All in all a very enjoyable stay at Walnut Cottage.

    It is ideally located for visiting Stratford on Avon whilst being out of the busyness. It is also an ideal location to visit the Cotswolds. The property has all you need to enjoy a break. It doesn’t have a washing machine but, on holiday, that’s not a great loss. You are surrounded by open countryside and the whole place feels very tranquil. There’s a lovely sun trap at the rear of the property and the owners have set out a table and chairs to make use of this space. If you have any issues the owners are on site and very approachable and helpful. The closest shop and restaurant is in Welford on Avon which is about 1 - 1.5 miles away. As there are no footpaths along part of the road from the property to the village walking would not be advisable. All in all a great place and would certainly check out its availability if revisiting the area.

  • "Beautiful little cottage for a family of 4."

    It was clean, nicely refurbished and was supplied with everything you need. Downstairs is all open plan which was great for our toddler as he could just run around. The area was quiet with beautiful views of the countryside and was only a short drive into Stratford Town and Evesham. There is a convenience store and three pubs/restaurants within a five minute drive. We tried The Bell Inn and The Four Alls and can highly recommend both. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely be returning.
