  • "Rose cottage was the best holiday home we stayed in Michael and Pamela was they to Great us when we pulled up."

Lovely welcome and gave us all the information we needed. Rose cottage absolutely cleaned to a very high standard. The facilities at Rose cottage was absolute excellent. Every little detail has been all thought about, and Rose cottage was so comfortable and homely.

  • "We had a very pleasant stay at the cottage."

(Family of 4) It was super clean, tidy and comfortable. It had a home from home feeling. It's had all the amenities needed! (We discussed with the owners getting plastic crockery/cups for children, that was the only thing we noticed might be helpful for families with small children.) The views were fantastic and the location is perfect for all local attractions. Ie. Warwick castle, Shakespeare's House. Local supermarket approximately 15 minutes up the road. Convenience stores closer. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay there again! 5 stars from us *****

  • "Overall four stars."

Michael and Pamela are gracious hosts. A lovely welcome pack, amazing views and very clean property. Easy to get to all the lovely Cotswolds villages. Ideal size for party of one but if with friends Rose Cottage is too small. Ideal for couples with two children. Bathroom small with no bath and no washing machine so lost points for that. However, still had a lovely stay.

  • "Our second time at Rose Cottage."

Freezing weather but we were always cozy and warm. The Cotswolds are a perfect winter break. Beautifully decorated independent shops and welcoming tea rooms. We especially like Broadway, Stowe on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh.

  • "Rose cottage is fabulous, this was our second stay, and putting in full length mirrors and a table top freezer has made it even better than when we stayed before."

Michael and Pamela are the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. It’s nice knowing they’re near by but they strike an excellent balance between being there and leaving you to enjoy your holiday and privacy. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and we will definitely stay again

  • "Absolutely lovely cottage and very warm with great facilities."

The cottage is lovely and spacious and spotless clean. Lovely private outside space too. The owner was very easy to contact re access and lovely and welcoming. A small bit of best practice would help holiday makers from different households - Different colour towels for each bedroom, so they are easily distinguishable. Overall a brilliant cottage, I would recommend and hope to revisit.

The owners were very helpful. The cake on arrival was most welcome. The property is well situated for a visit to Stratford(5 miles approx), Bourton-on-the-Water and numerous National Trust Sites. I would highly recommend this property.

  • "Lovely cottage and we’re made so welcomed by the owners."

We felt there should have been a freezer especially during the extreme heat , plus a sun umbrella and although we didn’t need a washing machine it would be Isidore a family with children. None of this spoilt our stay and would definitely recommend it.

  • "Good accommodations, excellent location to visit Warwick, Stratford and Cotswolds."

The road to Welford lacks a path so a bit tricky if you want to walk to the pubs/ restaurants. Great views.

Thank you for your feedback, although there is not a pavement into the village there is a pretty, riverside footpath right into the heart of the village just a short distance from Rose Cottage. This is just one of the many footpaths in this area. Property Owner

  • "A really lovely property in a quiet and secluded location."

The cleanliness of the house was perfect and the beds comfortable to sleep in. The owners were on hand if we needed anything but also left us alone! It would be good to have more cutlery, crockery and a few more baking trays as there was only enough for one meal at a time which meant a lot of washing up in between meals for a family of four. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again, hopefully when the weather is better!
