  • "Beautiful little cottage for a family of 4."

It was clean, nicely refurbished and was supplied with everything you need. Downstairs is all open plan which was great for our toddler as he could just run around. The area was quiet with beautiful views of the countryside and was only a short drive into Stratford Town and Evesham. There is a convenience store and three pubs/restaurants within a five minute drive. We tried The Bell Inn and The Four Alls and can highly recommend both. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely be returning.

Michael and Pamela made us very welcome and provided excellent accommodation at Walnut Cottage. We looked forward to returning to the cottage each day as it felt like home. The kitchen was well thought out with ample kitchen utensils, crockery etc. Great shower with plenty of water pressure. The cottage was exceptionally clean. Would not hesitate in recommending this property and will be returning again. Thank you Michael and Pamela

The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and even gave us some apples and pears when we left. The cottage and it’s facilities are first class and set in beautiful surroundings and just outside the village of Welford on Avon which has 3 pubs all providing meals. The one we ate in twice - The Bell was excellent. There is also a village shop and post office. All in all, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and not long enough.

  • "Although the cottage is fairly well equipped, it could be enhanced by just a few other bits to add to the experience."

    1. A few more mirrors, including a full length one. 2. A clock in the kitchen. 3. A washing machine. Essential if one has children. We loved the beautiful views and the cleanliness was second to none. The hosts were lovely. Thank You. Phil & Gill Short.

The owners were really helpful with local information and with providing us with some kitchen items to borrow. I would say the bathroom is very compact and not easy to wash in the tiny basin, but the shower was plentiful and always warm. Thank you

We enjoyed our week there very much. It was about a 20-25 minute walk into the village where we visited the Bell and 4 Alls for meals etc. both have lovely outside spaces especially the 4 Alls by the river Avon although this is a further 20 minute walk, a couple of minutes in the car though.

Comfortable and well equipped. Relaxing patio at back looking over fields often occupied by sheep.... Only improvement would be a Hot Tub on that patio - not many hot tub cottages in this area so would make this property stand out even more. Friendly hosts but not intrusive
