"Its a shame the cottage couldnt fit in a shower, head room in the bathroom is a problem."
The cottage though in a quiet pleasant location doesnt come up to the asking price and could definately do with an update to the furnishings. Overall it was just okay in view of the standards that are on offer in other cottages.

"Clean, quiet and comfortable little cottage."
Do feel the description should highlight no WiFi and low beams!

"We had a lovely week at Paradise Cottage and would recommend it to anyone who wants peace and quiet with access to Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds."
-
"Though the location of Paradise Cottage is excellent and the facilities within are adequate, we found the general cleanliness was lacking."
The floors had not been vacuumed in some time nor had they been washed. The drapes were dusty and cobwebs abounded everywhere due to lack of maintenance (lack of caulking/sealing) around the beams, windows, doorways and baseboards. We killed dozens of spiders every day without exaggeration! Spraying with pesticide is not the solution; the insects come into the house because the cracks were not filled within the rooms especially around the toilet pipe. There was no wifi available but that was not a deterrent for us. Mark James and his mother were gracious and helpful. We would return to this location in the future if we could be assured the maintenance was completed and the hired cleaning staff performed flawlessly.

"Thought the Cottage was tired, could do with a good clean to rid of cobwebs."
This appeared to be a business set up. Small TV, limited hot water which we could not alter Hit my head on the exceptionally low beam to the point I cut my head three times and came home rather battered The location was ideal but would not rush to book again. One of your worst choice of Cottage. Certainly not Paradise!!!

"This place truly lives up to its name."
Idylllic spot. So lovely to watch the lambs and sit in the garden. Great local pubs. We joined in with a local film club, who were very welcoming and passionate about the area.

"Perfect, cosy short break away for two."
Ideally situated for many places including towns and countryside. The cottage was well equipped and very warm - it was a lovely touch to arrive somewhere that had been pre-heated! We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend (and stay ourselves again!)

"Planned on the spur of the moment to get away from it all, me and the wife were looking to somewhere nice and quiet but accessible to some places of interest which we could visit at leisure as well as near enough amenities."
Found it all! Plus the owner was great, their bedding a small inconvenience, which really didn't effect us he came round to apologise and make sure we were comfortable. Lastly my wife left her coat hanging on the door, he got back to us immediately and is going to post it to us. What more could we ask.

"This location was excellent from the point of view of, "What to do in the case of bad weather", or if you enjoy historic buildings."
There are a lot of NT properties nearby as well as the delights of Warwick, Stratford, Banbury, Chipping Camden, etc for visiting. The cottage itself was fine, clean and everything worked - but - and this is a bit silly - the light levels in the sitting/dining room were fairly minimal (with no supplementary lights) for anyone who wants to read! There were also a number of farm shops and cafes in the vicinity - also very useful. There was no "Visitor's book". These are always useful for weeding out the places not to visit, but lots of tourist information and some local pub recommendations by the owners. Of all the NT places I would recommend, Snowshill Manor, Chastelton House, Coughton Court, Charlcote Manor, the Fleece (pub) at Bretforten - I would not recommend Upton House. Warwick Castle was a wonderful building ruined by all the "attractions", and the high entry and car parking fees. Also there so many wasted opportunities with the building, most of the rooms in the towers were locked, there was no distinction made between what was actually old and what was a copy or replica. Kenilworth Castle (English Heritage) by comparison was just great - and with a super history, good access, restaurant, parking, and relevant information.

"Well set out cottage with excellent facilities."
Warm and cosy allowing myself and my sister( who was in the adjoining cottage The Dairy) to have a family Christmas and have other family over on Boxing Day. Plenty of room, easy to park and very close to Stratford upon Avon. Fantastic, would use again any time of the year!

"It was extremely quiet and peaceful on a farm with some nice animals around."
It was perfectly placed for going to Stratford on Avon and anywhere in the Cotswolds.

"We had a lovely time."
Tempted to give poor feedback to keep this gem to ourselves! The only downside is the shower over the bath but a small detail really. We had a minor problem with the boiler whilst there and this was dealt with promptly. The pigs, sheep and horse are very friendly!! A brilliant place to stay.
