  • "April cottage is a lovely property in a beautiful village."

The property was spotless and well equipped and very comfortable. Thanks to the owners for providing 'initial supplies'. Handheld shower in bath may be quirky, but far from ideal.

  • "April Cottage was lovely."

A lot of care and attention has gone into making it into a good base from which to enjoy the Cotswolds. Quiet and peaceful, with very comfy beds and modern amenities.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are very glad you enjoyed the cottage and thank you so much for being great guests. The cottage was left in immaculate condition. We would welcome you back any time. Property Owner

  • "The log fire did not perform well and there were not enough logs."

Tried to raise this issue with owner but received no response

I'm sorry you did not find the 30 logs, full basket of kindling, two packs of firelighters and 2 packs of matches enough to adequately operate an open fire for your 4 night stay. We leave these complimentary for guests and do not charge for them so guests can enjoy their stay. This is an inglenook, a traditional open fire, it draws very well so I am suprised that you had trouble lighting it. We also recieved no calls from you during your stay. We would have been glad to assist you. Property Owner

  • "A beautiful little cottage in a quiet location but not too far from anything!"

Bath would be “challenging” for anyone with mobility issues to get in and out of but that’s just a minor issue and outweighed by the general comfort and beauty of the cottage.

Thank you so much for your feedback Simon, and thank you very much for looking after the cottage and being great guests. Property Owner
