    “Well-situated, Cosy and Comfortable”

This character cottage is within easy reach of the village centre, shops and restaurants and has pretty much everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. Kitchen and dining equipment was well-selected and comprehensive, and it was useful to have a separate utility room with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. A freezer compartment would have been welcome within the fridge, though. The cottagey atmosphere was great, as were the complementing decoration and furnishings. Good cosy beds too! Parking was the main downside. It was difficult to unload/load from a car (Distons Lane is very narrow with limited turning areas) and we ended up using the verge on the main road as the best solution for this. Longer term parking is across the main road - free but with a nominal 12h limit (which was a bit nail-biting). The cottage is ideal for exploring the area - lots to see and do in the Cotswolds, with some really interesting places within an easy walk. And there's an attractive morning dog walk right on the doorstep!
