  • "There is a wonderful garden!"

We have been to the swimming pool in Chipping Norton which is a good idea for a sunny day. Parking is nearby. The bus stop to Oxford is and the center of Chipping Norton is a few minute walk away from the house. We went to visit a few other villages in the Cotswolds which was very nice. Communication and booking was very nice and easy. Thank you!

Do not be put off by 'no parking'. The instructions given for alternative was more than ample.

Close-by is the fabulous kitchen, a space that is home to all the essentials required to create fantastic meals for all the family with warming underfloor heating.

A handy cloakroom completes the ground floor and contains a WC.

In the evening, head up the stairs to the first floor where you will find three homely bedrooms; the master overlooks the front garden and has a lovely eye-catching feature wall with a double bed, built-in wardrobes, smart touch control bedside lights and a TV, the second bedroom overlooks the back garden and has a double bed, hanging and storage space for clothing and a TV, the third bedroom also has handy hanging and storage space and contains a single bed, perfect for a child.

Completing the property is a bathroom containing a bath with an invigorating power shower over, perfect for an awakening rinse in the morning.

Catch the sunrise in the enclosed beautiful main garden which is accessed via the steep stone steps which lead to the sun terrace, sitting on the same level as the first-floor rooms, with a wooden gate leading to the enclosed terrace which is bathed in sunshine for most of the day in the summer months and houses a built-in barbecue, a Rattan table with seating for four and a parasol.

Beyond the terrace is the wonderful tiered garden, laid mostly with lawn and bordered by pretty flowers and mature shrubs, with a wooden pergola decorated with pretty lights marking the gateway to the last tier which has planted fruit trees creating a small orchard.
