There is a lovely church nearby and a pub within walking distance. Agarden centre and cafe a short drive away and shops at the nearby Rosebird centre. Further away (20mins) by car is Stratfird upon avon town itself.

  • "The cottage was beautiful, the tv you can not watch just think no tv To many rule on entry, we come for a holiday not to be a maid, we eat out."

Very cold welcome, we have just moved to cottage in the sky in Yorkshire what a different of welcome and a hamper of goodies and cheaper

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you did not like the TV. It is only small as we are limited on space but we do not advertise a large modern TV. The polite request not to block neighbours' gateways is there to ensure guests understand where they can park and that neighbours still have access. As it happens, we did receive complaints from the neighbours after your stay about the noise and language used. We were also had to throw away some tea towels, mugs and bed sheets after your stay as they were ruined. We do not leave welcome hampers for guests as many people have various dietary requirements and we do not like food to be wasted if it is not used. We hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. • "We had the most lovely week in this quaint cottage."

The wifi worked well enough for 2 people working remotely. The two sitting areas were perfect for remote work as well. The kitchen is well equipped (we were happily surprised to find a Nespresso machine, French press, and bean grinder). A lot of nice hikes and national trust sites really close by. The shared garden was not an issue at all and we felt totally comfortable sitting/dining in the garden (we only came across 1 lovely neighbor during our 7 days). Perfect country getaway for 2 people! Would totally recommend!

  • "The property was superb and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much."

There is a small step into the kitchen which I tripped over several times. There is no warning in the literature or in the house. We are both seniors so it was a real hazard and would benefit from some hazard tape or warning. It is a period cottage beautifully appointed but a somewhat archaic television which sits neatly in a concealed cupboard. A Tiny screen which we could not see. Would benefit from a small flat screen tv.

  • "The property was very good in respect of what it offered internally."

However, we were most disappointed with the lack of privacy afforded by the shared access way for the front and rear lawns by the properties neighbours. As a result, we felt unable to fully relax and unwind. Unfortunately, the holiday failed to meet expectations.

Many thanks for your valuable feedback. We are very disappointed that one of our properties has seemingly let us down and not provided you with the experienced that we had hoped for. We will be contacting the owner of this property shortly regarding the points you have raised. Your views are as valued as your initial booking, so that we can keep providing the best UK holiday experience. Thank you again. Property Owner
