A superb detached Hornton stone cottage ideally located on the owner's sustainable family arable and livestock farm, just two miles from the historic town of Banbury.
The side entrance to the cottage is ideal after a long walk in the countryside as you can take off your walking gear before entering the main part of the cottage.
The stunning, well-equipped kitchen boasts granite worktops, a gorgeous black electric AGA and a dining area which offers views of the unspoilt countryside and makes a perfect place for catching up with friends over dinner.
From the kitchen you enter a central hall through which is the large bright and light sitting room, with warming woodburning stove, sumptuous sofas and window seats from where you can watch the wildlife and livestock on the farm.
From the hall make your way to the first floor where you will find a beautiful four-poster bedroom complete with en-suite facilities, a wonderful bathroom and two further superb bedrooms all boasting high-quality beds, bed linen and amazing views.
Outside to the front of the property is a generous garden complete with lawned area, patio and garden furniture, making an ideal place to sit, relax and watch the wildlife go by whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the area.
A short walk takes you to the on-site farm shop, selling local produce much of which is grown and reared on the owner's farm.
You will find everything needed to cook a three course dinner, knock up a hearty breakfast or if cooking isn't your thing then homemade meals are available.
Many walks and cycle rides can be enjoyed with the Oxford Canal Walk and D'Arcy Dalton Way passing close by.
