Chipping Norton is really interesting and has numerous historic buildings.

Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are all close by.

Alternatively, take a trip to the riverside town of Banbury, Blenheim Palace or the university city of Oxford.

The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick, with its magnificent castle, also make great family days out.

Great Tew Park hosts various events throughout the year including the well-known Cornbury Music Festival which is held early in July.
