  • "We had a great stay, were very comfortable and felt that the house was very easy to live in, despite our large party."

We much enjoyed the hot tub which everyone went in at some point. There were a few issues with the dishwasher in that some of the racks were a bit broken and the runners wouldn't stay on, but we managed. We appreciated that the house was well stocked with extras like salt and pepper, sauces, plastic storge bags and kitchen roll. Extras that are so often forgotten. Thank you for everything and the warm welcome. We will certainly consider rebooking at another time.

  • "Lovely house in a great spot with the farm at the back of the property which is lovely to be able to go and visit."

House was spotless and great for entertaining a large amount of people, pub across the road provides great food and the play area is awesome for kids. Hosts were incredibly kind, the Easter Eggs for the little girl with us was a lovely touch. One word of warning for future visitors is that although advertised as dog friendly, there is a cat who frequently visits the property - we saw him every day we were there. My dog is not cat friendly and luckily I managed to chase the cat away before my dog saw him but it would not have ended well if the two had come face to face - I would not suggest staying here if your dog doesn't get on with cats.

Noted your comments about the cat. Property Owner

Owners are extremely helpful. Wonderful greetings package (especially the eggs!). Fantastic gardens. Loads of space in the house. Enough white appliances to care for everyone. House was warm in March. Pub close by. Great place.

  • "The welcome was exceptional with a generous hamper, fresh flowers in many of the rooms and decorated for Christmas' It was warm and comfotable, with plenty of logs for an open fire."

The sitting room was large enough for 18 to play familly games or just relax.. The beds were all comfortable and the rooms all interestingly decorated with lots of African artifacts.Plenty of soft towels and toilet rolls. plus the extra towels for the hottub that the grandchhildren enjoyed. The grounds were well laid and out and will be perfectfor summer visitors. Having the farm to visit was a bonus and the hospitality of the family. Theo was exceptioaly helpful and friendly. Thank you, we felt at home.

  • "We had a great stay at yew tree farm."

There was no negative comments that any of the families had. With a horde of children in tow the caretaker on site was amazing in showing them the animals in the farm at the back of the property and helping with any requests or problems we had promptly. Close to the the property there is a great adventure playground and local pub within a short walk We would definitely recommend this property those with young children.

Rory and Families.. Thank you for the lovely comments and I am glad Theo was able to make your stay even more enjoyable. Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and hope to see you again. Best Wishes, Nyasha Property Owner

  • "This is a lovely property that was perfect for celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday with family and friends."

It is nicely decorated with 8 good sized bedrooms, 2 with ensuite, and a delightful galleried dining room with a table to seat 18 people. We arrived to see beautiful flowers and a big welcome basket when we opened the front door, which was a nice touch, and the place was generally well provided for. Theo, the owner's brother, lives in the grounds and couldn't have been more helpful. I would highly recommend Yew Tree Farm.

Debbie thanks for coming to stay, please come back anytime. Theo really enjoyed hosting you and your family. Thanks again Nyasha Property Owner
