  • "On entering the cottage it felt like you had travelled back in time, except of course for the smart TV."

The beds were very comfortable. The bedding & towels were of a high standard. The biscuits, milk & the cleaning box were a nice touch. However the stairs were very challenging even for someone who had no mobility issues. There was no iron or ironing board so could not iron creased clothes due to them being in a suitcase. The parking was also an issue as you could find yourself boxed in & very little room to manoeuvre your car. Overall we enjoyed our stay & the location of the cottage was good as you could walk into Woodstock & to explore the lovely villages of the Cotswolds.

Thank you for your feedback with regards to your stay at 31 Manor Road. We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay, we hope you managed to visit the Palace while in Woodstock. It's also got some lovely shops, Cafe's and Restaurants within walking distance. We re lucky that we have lots of National Trusts local to visit also. We will pass on your comments to the Owner for review and hope to welcome you back again in the future. Kind regards Manor Cottages. Property Owner

  • "All the way visiting from Australia, the property was perfect immaculate and clean, we loved the decor and quirkiness of the cottage."

Location was great a gate just a short distance from the property. We would definitely be returning if we didn’t live so far!

We are very pleased to have welcomed you all the way from Down Under. We are delighted that you loved the property and its location in Woodstock. We hope you had a safe journey home. Best wishes Manor Cottages Property Owner

  • "Lovely old quirky cottage."

Clean and comfortable. The only thing we would comment on is the rusty garden furniture, this was disappointing as we had lovely weather and would have liked to eat outside.

  • "A small but very quirky cottage, excellent bedding and toweling."

clean and tidy. well supplied kitchen .My only gripe would be about the off street parking, this is very hit and miss and you should be prepared to having no parking space outside the cottage. That said I would not put any body off from renting this property being in a lovely town with lots of places to eat [ most dog friendly] its also a short drive to the Oxford park and drive as well as 50 metres from a secret entrance to Bleinheim Palace Park with its acres of space. Especially recommended for people with dogs.

  • "A really lovely little cottage."

We loved the original features, albeit very wonky in places. The kitchen had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Shower was lovely and hot and the bedrooms were adequate with lovely clean white towels and sheets. Unfortunately we were unable to close the door as the lock needs a small adjustment. It would lovely to have a mirror in each of the rooms, as we had to share the one in the bathroom. The addition of better garden furniture would definitely be another improvement. The location of the cottage for Blenheim and Woodstock is superb. We found a small gate which leads you straight into the grounds of Blenheim. This was perfect as we were visiting Woodstock for the Nocturne Event. The town has lots of lovely restaurants and cafes as well as a supermarket for essentials. Just to note the road is very busy, however we would definitely use again if we ever attend another event at Blenheim!

Thank you for your feedback. We have passed your suggestions onto our Property Management Team.It sound a perfect location for your event, especially with the secret back gate. We hope we can welcome you back again for another event. Best wishes Manor Cottages Property Owner

  • "This little house is soooo cute!"

It has been a real pleasure. Everything was perfect! The free entrance to the park is next door. They left a cot bed for our baby + high chair! (Yay!) The only thing I’d say is the noise from the main road, and there is no washing machine (kids + husband doing the triathlon…) . But not really an issue for us. We really enjoyed our stay!

Many thanks for your feedback. We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay in Woodstock, the cottage is an ideal location for the triathlon at Blenheim Palace - we hope your husband and children had fun taking part. Best wishes, Manor Cottages Property Owner

  • "Lovely cottage."

Interesting furnishings and lots of character. Kitchen very nicely done with quality equipment. (No microwave although was listed). Didn’t manage to park our car outside at any point during the stay due to lack of space. On the plus side we didn’t really need the car as the town a short walk away through the grounds of Blenheim. Plenty of good quality pubs and restaurants to choose from. Overall a very relaxing week in a great location.

Thank you for providing this lovely feedback. We're delighted that you loved the cottage and enjoyed a relaxing week. Parking can sometimes be an issue due to the popularity of the Cotswolds but it's great that you managed to make the most of the surrounding amenities. Best wishes Manor Cottages Property Owner
