  • "Staying at Gardeners cottage was a delight."

The house itself was extremely well presented with good quality linen and equipment, with the bonus of wonderful artwork. Outside the grounds were stunning, we enjoyed seeing the horses and all sorts of other wildlife. It was good value and I would definitely recommend it.

  • "This property was a perfect base for us to explore the local area."

It was Very homely and comfortable with everything we needed, as a large family of six it was very spacious and the children really enjoyed exploring outside. We met the manager Vicki who was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this property.

  • "A great place in a great location but dead flys on windowsills, shower not clean, one shower couldn’t be used as it had no hot water, directions to key box and right door to use not available so it took a while to work out how to get in as it was dark and no lights."

Some inappropriate paintings for family visits our adult group found them disturbing. It could have been so much better with a little more attention to detail. Having said that we enjoyed it and had a great few days!

  • "Beautiful property in Hungerford in woodlands."

Not that suitable for young children (hard, slippy floors, naked artwork which raised lots of questions lol) and vegetarians/animal lovers be warned, some of the sculptures may not be to your liking! Property was warm, clean and comfortable though so would definitely recommend.

Perfect for a nice family getaway. Getting to Hungerford for shopping essentials was easy and it was simple to get into the M4 to travel further afield too. We would visit again.

  • "A great, characterful holiday cottage, in a peaceful, rural location with lovely views of countryside."

It was very well equipped with comfortable beds and good showers. The kitchen/dining room is huge with plenty of space for a group to spend time together for cooking and meals. We enjoyed a walk around the surrounding grounds and the impressive walled garden.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so pleased to hear that you had a peaceful stay and enjoyed the surroundings. With very best wishes from All at Hungerford Park Property Owner

  • "We booked the property for a group of 6 older friends who live apart and wanted to spend some quality time together."

This property was perfect for our needs, in a really quiet location, well equipped, cosy and an ideal space for socialising during chilly November weather. The open plan kitchen and dining area was perfect for lazy breakfasts and to enable us to all socialise even while some of the group were busy cooking. Although the lounge was smaller than we had perhaps anticipated from photographs, it was actually a perfect size for our group. The three double bedrooms were all a good size and very comfortable. We also enjoyed our walk in the grounds in the areas identifed for visitors to enjoy. We would be very happy to make a return visit.

  • "We had a lovely long weekend."

Kitchen was huge and very well equipped. Great facilities for toddlers...the high chair and stair gates were great and we were left with two huge boxes of toys which was amazing! The grounds are stunning and we had such a lovely time walking round and seeing all the horses (my daughter loved this!). All facilities in the house were great and well thought of and we loved all the art work! The kitchen equipment felt like it needed a good clean which we did as we used it. And in general places needed dusting. But a huge house with lots of character...it didn't feel like a sterile rental which we liked! Would definitely come back and would recommend.

  • "Hi, I love your property, I love the space, the decor, the kitchen space and facilities were perfect for us."

Beds, so comfortable and love the bath and showers. Overall the space was perfect. For myself, husband and dog, the garden wouldn't work for more than a couple of nights. It would be difficult to keep Max (dog) on lead in the garden and the estate longer term. We had family visit for the day from Coventry, Cardiff and Taunton - was a great location. Personally, I would love to stay much longer (without Max), the Park is so beautiful and the luxury of the cottage whatever the weather was such a treat. Thank you so much!

  • "Everything was as described."

Lovely cottage and setting. One small note though. It does not have a microwave…as listed. Not too much of a problem as coped with the ample supple of pots and pans. It also does not state on the description or welcoming pack sent that they request dogs are kept downstairs. It was only in the pack in the cottage. This would have been a factor when choosing a place to stay.
