  • "We really enjoyed our stay at the Machine Rooms."

The house was beautifully styled; the beds were super comfy with lovely crisp linen. The layout of the house was perfect for a family of four and we love the village of Churchill. It was a great find and it was great visiting the Cotswolds in the Christmas period.

  • "This is a perfect holiday property which has been beautifully converted to a very high standard."

The owners have added lovely touches for a home from home feel and a warm welcome awaits you from the moment you arrive. It also has to have the very best en-suites that we’ve ever experienced! It is located in the very peaceful village of Churchill which makes an excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds. I would highly recommend staying at the Machine Rooms and hope to return in the future.

  • "Charming place in a small village in the Cotswolds."

There is an excellent pub in the village withing walking distance. A plus. There are other pubs in nearby villages but a car is needed. The interior is stylish, clean and modern. Very nice. Perfect for 2 couples. The main bedroom Is in the first floor. Large. The bedroom in the second floor is also large but with low ceilings. Both bathrooms are excellent with nice amenities. Highly recommended!

  • "We had a fantastic stay at the Machine Rooms."

Everything was just as advertised but what the pictures don't tell you is the homely yet modern feel of this cottage. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Both bedrooms are ensuite and of good size to fit your luggage and still have space to move around. What makes this place extra special is the location - Churchill is a small village but beautiful and quiet - Daylesford is a 7 minute drive, Chipping Norton is another short drive so it is perfectly located. We had booked to stay for a week and ended up extending our stay for an extra night because we were so comfortable. We travelled with a baby and there was a travel cot and high chair provided. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Good location for visits to many Cotswold towns, villages and attractions. Short walk to Chequers where food is excellent.

  • "This cottage is amazing."

Extremely clean and incredibly modern. The pre arrival information you receive really helps you plan your trip and communication was quick and convenient. Would definitely stay here again next time in Cotswolds. The host went over and above in the information kept in a folder at the property and accommodated any requests we asked.
