• "An ideal holiday home for a small family."

  Our 3 and 1 year old children loved staying at The Stables, especially playing in the wonderful garden. The box of toys was also greatly appreciated and kept them busy for hours. The property was immaculately clean on arrival with a thoughtful welcome pack. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cater for little ones and adults too. We look forward to returning soon!

  Perfect for visiting lots of lovely places, yet only half an hour to Birmingham City Centre. Great pubs and eatery’s close by! Lots of places, if you like walking

• "Fantastic stay here."

  Would recommend 100% as it was the best place we have ever stayed in for a holiday family home. Extra facilities give that luxury feel. Friendly owners and helpful. Would stay again next visit. Also great value.

• "A most spacious and beautiful dwelling, so well equipped."

  You really want for nothing. The access to M5 and the local road network is easy. We so appreciated the kindness and availability of Glenda and her husband and hope to return next year to visit the family. Our main fear is that someone else will have booked before us!

• "Lovely cottage with high quality fittings and equipment and loads of storage space (was previously a family home) including two fridges and freezers."

  Welcome pack included delicious bread, as well as milk, spread, coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits. Also provided more than enough toilet rolls for the week, soap, washing-up liquid, kitchen roll etc. Lots to do in the area, from country walks to central Birmingham, and loads of good pubs within 10 min drive. Minor niggles - light bulbs on stairs both needed replacing (found one replacement in drawer), one broken towel holder, but didn't detract from overall experience. Although only one bath/shower, two bedrooms had sinks (not listed in the Sykes property listing). Would happily stay again.

  Thank you Alison for your feedback. We don't leave too many things like lightbulbs around as believe it or not, they tend to go walkies! Once these things are bought to our attention they are seen to straightaway as was done after you left! I will contact Sykes to say about the sinks as I know the information was on there when I checked the listing over in the past. Anyway, glad you enjoyed and maybe see you again! • "Very comfortable stay."

  Plenty of room for our family. Spacious and full featured kitchen/dining room, and spacious comfortable living room. Full laundry facilities, outdoor space, etc. Would stay again.

• "What an amazing home from home so comfortable everywhere in the house."

  Everything you need is here, it's so quiet you could be in the middle of Wales yet your only a few minutes from civilisation without driving hours ( in our case 10 minutes) highly recommend, very nice owners Glenda and Barry, ideal for a Christmas getaway 10/10

• "Had a wonderful holiday at The Stables, Belbroughton, 10th -17th February."

  The owners are extremely helpful and lovely people. The accommodation is fantastic as is the surrounding area. We will definitely be returning for another holiday. The position of the cottage is great for exploring The West Midlands Safari Park, Birmingham City centre, the Malverns, Worcester and many more areas. Would highly recommend it! Definitely a 5 star from all members of our family.

• "What an absolute gem of a find!"

  Our Christmas here has been magical and everything our 4 year old dreamed of. She loved the zip wire and Santa had easy access down into the cosy living room. The kitchen diner was the perfect adult entertainment space whilst the kids had fun in the lounge with the many games. We loved it so much we have already booked again before we even left the place! Can’t wait to be there again next year!

• "The Stables is a wonderful property."

  A very social living space that caters to everyone's needs. We had a child under 2 and never once did we think she would be unsafe during our stay. I can't praise the owners enough for their hospitality, always on hand if ever we needed anything. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit North Worcestershire.

• "We were greeted at the Stables by Glenda and Barry (Baz) who made us extremely welcome."

  Glenda showed us around and extensively explained where everything was etc. the property was incredible and tastefully decorated to the highest standard. We had every you could ever want at our finger tips. All the bedrooms were large double rooms. The beds were so comfortable. Even done to the fans in the bedrooms which were climate controlled. It was like being at home. The bathroom was so luxurious with a rolled topped bath, where you could relax and watch the television whilst having a soak, to the large walk in shower which could be operated from the outside. The kitchen was so well equipped it was a pleasure to cook in this kitchen. The oven was spotlessly clean and a shear joy to use. The utility room housed the white goods and Baz explained how to use the indoor line if we needed to use it. Moving on to the immaculate grounds where Baz showed us how to use the Zip wire which was great fun to the outside table tennis, trampoline and swings. We would highly recommend this beautiful property which whilst situated in the lovely countryside it’s within a short distance to all the main attractions.

• "We had an amazing time."

  The Stables was excellent, it is beautiful. It was spotlessly clean, had everything you could possibly need. It is beautifully furnished and modern but keeping with a farmhouse theme. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed. The beds were so comfortable. Kitchen and living areas so cost warm and spacious. The outdoor area is fantastic, loads to do. Overall an amazing place. We will definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending the stables as a place to stay.

• "We really loved the property."

  There were so many extra touches which made such a difference such as robes, lots of kitchen equipment, the welcome pack and even lavender pillow mist. Glenda and Barry are the most lovely people who made us feel so welcome and we loved the bread and cake. The only downside was 6 ladies and only 1 shower but it didn't effect us too much as we weren't in a rush to go anywhere. We would definitely recommend this property. We have stayed many places together over the past 20 years and this has been by far the best.

• "We had a super stay at The Stables!"

  Our young kids loved the huge garden and the play facilities. Inside was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. Barry and Glenda were lovely hosts and on hand if we needed anything. There’s loads to do nearby as well eg Warwick Castle, Cadbury World, East Midlands Safari Park, Wyre woods, I highly recommend and would happily return!
