“Loved our day on the Severn Valley Steam Railway.”
“Charming characterful cottage”
Charming, cozy, full of character--a memorable place to stay. The cottage dates from the 18th century and its easy to be carried back in time. It still has all the modern conveniences and is located close to the center of Bewdley with its shops, pubs, restaurants, and the River Severn with its ever graceful swans. Its worth reading the owner's description of the cottage and her warnings about steps and stairs as the latter would prove challenging for anyone with limited mobility. Apart from that caveat, Burltons is a splendid place to stay.
“Perfect Few Days”
Had a short break which was not long enough! The cottage was of a very high quality, modern.yet still with retained character. It was well equipped and a parking space was a real bonus. A really quiet spot but just a couple of minutes from the river and the town centre, a great find!
We were the first visitors to stay in this wonderfully renovated cottage in the centre of Bewdley. The owners have made a great job of the imagining, designing, and accomplishing a major refit. It is now stylish, bright, and comfortable, but still retains its cottage feel. Unusually for holiday lets (and we have rented dozens over the years), everything is as good or better than the description, and even more unusually, everything works! The owners were welcoming, the beds were comfortable, the water was hot, the wifi was fast, in fact everything was excellent! We cannot recommend this property highly enough, it is definitely one of the very best that we have ever rented.
