“Cottage is nice and clean and had good facilities.”

The biggest issue was a hot tub policy that switched off the hot tub at 10pm and also didn’t allow children - if this is your policy it should be made clear Before payment and before arrival and given the chance to cancel and book elsewhere.

The biggest issue was a hot tub policy that switched off the hot tub at 10pm and also didn’t allow children - if this is your policy it should be made clear Before payment and before arrival and given the chance to cancel and book elsewhere. Also a 10.30pm silence curfew - again where is that stated in the booking. Seemed mid leading as all these restrictions are not mentioned before paying.

I am pleased you felt the cottage was nice and clean and had good facilities. However, you were not happy with the safe and courteous policies of the lodge and park that are set inplace. Let me explain further. In accordance to guidelines that 'were' given prior to your visit, and we have to work with the environment request to enable a family orientated site, and in doing so a curfew had to be put in place for others as well as yourselves for a tranquil site. As for the hot tub, again, the 'law' stipulates that children under 12years of age should not be in a hot tub and especially unattended. We are liable if we were not to stipulate the 'law' to which is available for all to read before their commencement of a holiday. The hot tub at this lodge is also not for continuous use, and clearly on inspection when you left it, it was clear it had continuous use. - Sykes owner relations
