  • "This property has so much potential, nicely converted with good quality furniture and fittings."

Unfortunately, it is massively let down by the lack of cleanliness. Old, dusty cobwebs, mouse droppings in the kitchen cupboard, dirty cupboards where food should be stored and clearing no furniture is moved for vacuuming, wooden floor not washed and the list could go on. As a single traveller with young children, I choose to address these issues after our stay as I did not feel comfortable to do so while there. I had to chase Skyes for responses and eventually just got an apology for the cobwebs as the property is old. The age of a building is no excuse for it being dirty. Disappointed with Skyes who just put trust in their owners to provide good quality properties, there seems to be no inspections or quality control by them. I won't be using Skyes again.

  • "Tucked away down a country path off the main road in a beautiful rural setting just outside Ludlow."

Well equipped barn conversion with a luxury feel. High quality spec throughout. Loved the bath. Perfect for a romantic getaway. We visited in the winter and although cold when we arrived it soon warmed up and was cosy and very comfortable for the duration of our stay. The Log fire makes it feel very homely. Easy to visit Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Ironbridge from this base. We throughly enjoyed our days out with plenty to see and do in the nearby towns. No TV but plenty of good films to watch via Apple on a large B&O screen, or simply take a good book. The owner was pleasant and on hand if you need anything sorting. Neighbours were also lovely. We walked our dog daily across the nearby fields. The Ludlow Farm Shop is well worth a visit. We cooked most evenings and enjoyed locally reared bacon, lamb and eggs for dinner and breakfast. Not to mention local cheeses, butter and milk. Plenty of good bakeries for bread, cakes and Shrewsbury biscuits! Highly recommended. I would stay there again.

Thankyou very much for your comments. We are glad you had a lovely stay Property Owner

  • "The property was clean and well presented, the owners very welcoming."

But I feel I should have done a more in depth search, as being older people we found using the bath impossible, a shower would have been much more acceptable. The seating for relaxing was meagre, although a two seater settee, it really was uncomfortable to be in such close proximity all the time, the other easy chairs were not easy to relax in. As the TV was films only, we didn't find anything to our taste, so we tried to read, but the lighting was not bright enough for this.

  • "Very cosy accommodation about half an hour from the delightful town of Ludlow."

The property is all about 1 room living, but is well equipped, and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. There are miles of cycling on your doorstep, but watch out for those lung busting hills. Three ducks and a chicken rule the place, so keep everything tidy as the chicken stops every morning to have a look through the patio door windows and check everything is in order. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Many thanks sorry about the hills !!! Thanks for your feedback it really helps Regards Pete Property Owner
