The gardens were a delight and very much a bonus. The rural setting is beautiful, ideal for walkers but also tranquil for simply relaxing with many historic towns nearby. Last but not least - Chris and Clare were fantastic hosts very welcoming and helpful throughout the week.

"The warmth and hospitality of the owners, Clare and Chris, was great - the homemade cakes and home baked bread provided on arrival were lovely treats."
And Gus, their friendly dog, readily accepted out small terrier. There are walks nearby and we were welcome to walk through their garden to their large field. We also took advantage of Clare's offer to provide very tasty meals for us, for a modest cost, on two evenings. A couple of minor tweaks needed maybe, in that the bedroom radiator didn't turn off properly and the shower control was stiff to turn on, but the helpfulness of Clare and Mike easily compensated for this. They also keep chickens in a very upmarket hen house - a Hilton hotel for chickens - so on leaving we bought a dozen eggs to take home. A memorable stay and the owners being on site meant there was a lovely personal, but not intrusive, touch.
It was lovely to meet Adrian, Jill and Skip during their stay. I am glad you enjoyed your time with us. Chris and I were only too happy to help you out and make you feel welcome. The radiator and shower are due to be looked at this week when the plumber can make it to us and will be changed in due course with our planned renovations. My apologies for these issues. "We spent a fabulous week in this lovely barn conversion, with our 2 dogs."
The accommodation was spot on - comfortable, warm and relaxing and the kitchen was really well equipped. Ideal for the dogs as there are plenty of walks to be enjoyed in neighbouring fields. Ideally placed for trips into both the local towns and the beautiful Shropshire Hills. Clare and Chis made us feel very welcome (as did their dog, Gus) and suggested places to visit in the area. We would definitely recommend this property to those who enjoy a peaceful, relaxing break.
