  • "We had such a wonderful relaxing week at Holly Lodge."

The accommodation was so clean and decorated beautifully throughout. It was like being home from home. It was well equipped with everything. The views were wonderful, there was no noise, just birds singing which was so lovely and tranquil. We would like to thank Jo, the owner, for her lovely touch of leaving a chilled bottle of Prosecco in the fridge on our arrival, that went down a treat. The hot tub was great and we were well impressed at it being checked every day. We would definitely recommend Holly Lodge to family and friends. Many thanks Jo for such a fab time in your beautiful, homely Lodge. Gill and Dave.

The cabin was spacious, well presented and very comfortable. The hot tub and balcony was fab. Communication before and after was hassle free, very quick and efficient and we had a wonderful stay. We'd definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while!

The manger tryed to get it but no look.the owner knew about it last week.we booked the lodge because it had internet.the sofas were not comfy to thin seat pads.towels could do with renewing as they were a bit thin.two loungers outside would have handy.the sight is still quiet and peaseful.

  • "This was a really lovely holiday lodge with a great hot tub."

My husband, children (11 and 8) and myself thoroughly enjoyed our time there. There are no immediate things to do so you have to take a drive out but that in itself is good for discovering new places. The only downside for us, especially the children, was that the WiFi and signal were hit and miss but if you want to get totally away from civilisation then this was great way to do it. We would definitely go back again.

  • "Holly lodge is a beautiful property, well equipped, immaculately clean and beautiful throughout."

There are only a small number of lodges on the site so if you are after peace and quiet in lovely surroundings then this is for you. The hot tub made the break extra special as did the prosecco that we received on arrival. Lots to do in the local area with walking and biking through the wyre forest, steam trains and lovely towns and rivers. This was just what we wanted for our holiday, no crowds of people just a lovely family break.

).The hot tub was the highlight for us,being able use it in the sunshine on Christmas Day with a bottle of fizz was very special, the kitchen is well equipped and we cooked a lovely Christmas lunch with no issues at all. it really was the best Christmas ever and we are very tempted to book up for next year

  • "Lovely stay in a lovely lodge."

Such a clean, homely place in a scenic spot. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we were happy to chill and spend days infront of the TV and relax in the hot tub (which was a great added bonus-facing the woods, watching the squirrels and birds). Sofa and beds were really comfy, although some curtains would have been a nice touch for privacy and for when the sun shines early in the morning. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed week away.

  • "We were well pleased with this lodge when we finally found it."

The sign at the top of the lane has been knocked over and we drove passed twice. The lodge is very nice inside, our only complaint is it could do with more curtains and blinds on the windows as at night it felt a bit exposed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay especially the hot tub. The doors and beds could all do with a squirt of WD40 to stop the creaking. And, although it was stated that wifi was intermittent we were unable to get logged on all the time we were there.
