    “Very nicely furnished.”

All luxery facilities provided, every comfort for a relaxing holiday. The bottle of prosecco a lovely surprise.

The property

Resting on a quiet lodge park in the village of Billingsley, amidst idyllic countryside, lies this contemporary retreat.

Set over a single floor, Cedar Lodge provides luxury features and quality living for couples, any time of year.

Step into the bright and airy open-plan living space, complete with a high-end kitchen where the designated chef can rustle up hearty meals, with the benefits of a dishwasher so you won’t have to lift a finger when it comes to washing up!

The sitting area is where you can unwind; get the woodburning effect stove roaring as you sink into the plush corner sofa, finding the TV remote and tuning into your favourite shows.

When the sun is shining, open the patio doors to access the wrap around decking, here you can catch a tan on the sun loungers or set the furniture for alfresco dining.

There is also the luxury of a hot tub resting under a glass roof, so you can soothe your muscles after a long day of walking.

As you tire, venture to the beautiful bedroom to find your sleeping quarters, complete with a sumptuous king-size rise and fall TV bed to curl up into, while the bathroom provides further quality, with a choice of bath, walk-in shower and built-in sauna to aid your relaxation!

The nearby village of Highley provides amenities, including a golf centre, two convenience stores, a fish and chip shop and a friendly pub, The Bache Arms, where you can reward yourself with a pint after touring the immediate countryside.

Venture to the pretty town of Bridgnorth, where you can browse the independent shops and Saturday market in search of a gift to take back home, dine at a traditional inn or examine the castle ruins, which lean at a greater angle than the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

The area offers delightful walking, and the popular destinations of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Church Stretton are all well worth a visit.
