A delightful, detached farmhouse in beautiful grounds, close to the ancient village of Meriden in Warwickshire.
Sat at the end of a courtyard and brimming with character, this is a great place for a family get together or a catch up with friends.
On entering the property there is a small entrance hall with a boot rack and hanging for coats, which then takes you into the main hallway.
To the right is a spacious sitting room with plenty of comfy sofas in front of a welcoming woodburner, making it a great place to relax in front of after a full day out and about.
From the sitting room, there are doors leading to a lovely sun room with great views of the gardens and the lake.
Next door to the sitting room is a large dining room with a good-sized dining table, making it a great place to enjoy some home-cooked meals.
To the left of the hallway takes you to a small dining area which is connected to a large, well-equipped kitchen.
From this dining area, head upstairs to four bedrooms, with the flexibility of singles, twins and a king-size double, two of which have en-suite facilities.
Don’t forget the ground floor double bedroom which has its own bathroom as well as a separate shower room.
The Farmhouse takes you to an enclosed private lawned garden with a patio and plenty of furniture including hammocks as well as two barbecues.
This is a great place for kids to let off some steam and for some well-deserved alfresco dining.
Surrounding this is the communal gardens with a beautiful lake, as well as a bridge going over to the centre with some seating in the middle.
The lake is well-stocked with fish and guests are able to fish here by arrangement with the owner.
Take a trip into the village and enjoy a home-cooked meal at one of the two village pubs, or pick up local produce at the farm shop.
Many walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep with the Heart of England Way, Millennium Way and A Coventry Way all passing close by.
Hop in the car and visit a National Trust property such as Packwood House or Coughton Court to name a couple.
For a great day out, why not take a trip to Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare's birthplace, Warwick with its magnificent castle or a tour around the many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages close by?
