“There were cobwebs and dust in the bedrooms.”

but everywhere else was clean. The beds were really comfortable, Well appointed Chapel, great starting out point for many places to go. Very quiet in the evenings, although a building site next door which didn't affect us much.

Very quiet in the evenings, although a building site next door which didn't affect us much. Nice outside seating area. We would definitely come again. Owners were very helpful. Nice bottle of red wine waiting and flowers. Also chocolates!

St. Milburga Chapel has stood in the parish of Stoke St Milborough in the Shropshire Hills AONB since 1842.

Charmingly restored in 2005, it now serves as a quirky base for guests wishing to make use of the lush walking country and fascinating towns and villages nearby.

Benefiting from homely open-plan living, the rustic wooden fittings and exposed beams give it a real country-cottage-feel.

There is tremendous walking right from your doorstep, offering some fine rural views, with some great walking opportunities in the Brown Clee Hill itself with a chance to see the wild ponies. The local inn is the Three Horseshoes at Wheathill.

This is a real country pub with an excellent menu.
