"There was a fabulous arrival pack for us at the forge ."

Everything was as described . Unfortunately it was v v hot when we were there and we did cook ( but so did everyone else in the country!) The owner was incredibly helpful and saved me after I locked myself out of the house and locked my ( disabled) husband inside . Shower great accessibility so ideal for us. Rural walks for the dog very close by .

It was a pleasure to have you and to meet you. Welcome back any time. Hope you got home ok Property Owner

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay at The Forge."

It was extremely clean and well stocked with good amenities, even additional items like a tower fan for the hot weather. A lovely and thoughtful small welcome pack of pasta, pesto and wine. Some milk would have been great but there was a well stocked shop nearby. Marksbury is a great location for easy access to Bath, Bristol and beyond. The cottage is very close to a busy main road and the traffic is loud as well as headlights briefly shining through the shutters in the bedroom. It didn't bother us loads but did generate noise particularly with windows/doors open. We also didn't realise until arriving that there was no garden or enclosed space for our dog outside - this isnt advertised or mentioned so was our error, and wasn't a huge issue for us or our dog but may be for others. Great shower, comfortable furniture and nice surroundings area. Thank you

Thanks for the comprehensive feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
