It was nice and quiet especially at night for a restful sleep. Loved watching the swans and barges from the patio windows. The apartment was very clean, kitchen well equipped. Good shower and bathroom. Good parking outside the apartment and few minutes walk into Town Centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for her. We would certainly recommend the apartment, as we have stayed in very many over the years. The location is excellent too; close to the theatre, town centre and many of the local attractions and eateries. Allocated parking is also provided adjacent to the property- so vital in this town - and being on the canal bank an abundance of wildlife can be observed from the windows and patio area. All the facilities are on the ground floor, which is vital to our party with a family member with limited mobility, so this is the idea property for us whenever we visit Stratford upon Avon. 5 stars from us!

It is in such a lovely position for visiting Stratford and all the National Trust Properties we love. Everything is perfect inside and very comfy bed perfectly clean with everything you want for a weeks stay. Lovely to be on the canal, and a couple of times sat on the patio with a glass of wine watching the canal barges. My wife was in heaven feeding the swans and little signets she was upset to leave them. Perfect bolt hole for a weeks relax from work, will be returning many times. Love it. • "WOW ! What can we say about this fantastic property ?"

By far one of the nicest and most convenient we have stayed in .The accomodation was lovely, access with key code was simple and convenient it was very clean with plenty of room for 2/4 adults Items in cupboards e.g washing up liquid ,dishwasher and washing machine tablets supplied as well as milk ,tea , coffee and plenty of books, dvds or games to get you settled in .Comfy beds and plenty of hot water for showers and the wifi worked perfectly when needed. The central heating was simple to control so never cold .The property is situated right on the canal so feeding ducks and swans daily and watching the barges float by was a real treat. Bancroft Place is only a 5 minutes walk into the beautiful town where there is plenty of choice of restaurants and small independant shops to visit and historic sites too.Parking on site is a real bonus for 1 vehicle, but opposite is a large secure car park that charges £10 for 24 hours if you have visitors like we did..There is a Tesco,Marks and Spencer and Sainsburys only 5 minutes away for food shopping if needed . We ate out and would highly recommend *The Bistrot Pierre and the *Turquoise Kitchen, both 10 minutes walk away.We would re-book with confidence and stay in this property again with no hesitation. Thank-you we had a lovely break.

Attention to detail and cleanliness 10 out of 10 everything you could need was in place so no need to carry everything from home !! The location was just perfect by the Canal and only 5 minutes walk from The centre of Stratford upon Avon and all its attractions . The home itself was quiet and the addition of a garden terrace beside the canal with a table and chairs just perfect for you to eat alfresco. Having a Private car park beside the property was a big bonus as parking can be a nightmare in Stratford especially in the summertime. Wether you want to sit and relax ,go to the Shakespeare Theatre or walks along the canal or shop in town you would be hard to find a better holiday home . Mr T ward.

Canal boats also pass by which are interesting to look at. Most of the Shakespeare properties are within walking distance as is the theatre, the tourist information centre, restaurants, pubs, cafes and all of the shops, so it is ideally placed for everything a visitor might require.
