  • "Levie was a fantastic host who was very friendly and welcoming."

The added touches on arrival such as flowers, coffee and cake were so lovely and appreciated. The Garden House was very clean, warm, quiet and well decorated. A brand new ninja air fryer was waiting for us which took some getting used to as not having operated one before. We appreciated that our family dog could accompany us on this stay as accommodation can be so hard to come by. Levie does have her own dog which uses the garden (although fenced) but it did mean we had to keep an eye on our pet whilst outside as he isn’t good with other dogs. The location has some stunning views and surroundings but the remote location did mean we had next to no phone signal which was problematic. The wifi was also very limited and even though Levie did try to fix this for us, it still didn’t give us the access we needed throughout our stay. This holiday home is perfect for two people but as a family of five, was a little cramped at times but nonetheless still comfortable and pleasant. Thank you Levie for a wonderful two weeks.

Easy travelling distance to Stratford upon Avon, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wolds, the British Motor Museum amongst other beautiful Cotswolds / Warwickshire areas. You holiday at your pace. So lovely to be greeted by Levie with a warm welcome and tea and cake in the garden, plus a kitchen stocked with milk, presecco, fruit, tea and coffee! The house itself had everything for our convenience and comfort, and of course best of all were the beautiful gardens surrounding the property on all sides, such an abundance of plants, trees, shrubs and flowers, all beautifully maintained and creating a restful and relaxing envirionment. French windows on all sides for stepping outside, peaceful and quiet, just the perfect environment for nature lovers.

The Garden House is kept in immaculate condition and we were welcomed by Levie with tea and cake, fruit, milk, and an explanation of all the facilities. We, and Leo the dog, felt at home right away. There are so many places to visit nearby, and Levie is happy to recommend good places to eat & drink. We were left to enjoy our space privately but through choice we thoroughly enjoyed spending time and chatting with Levie and felt we had made a new friend. This is a great location to explore cotswolds with lot's of beautiful villages and Stratford upon Avon not being far away. Would reccomend and would love to come back and do more exploring and walking as this time was a nice break with my mum who can't walk far. So one level house ideal and she enjoyed rhe scenery.

  • "Having just spent 4 nights at the Garden House…when the time came to leave we were sorry we couldn’t stay a lot longer!"

Set in a beautiful garden, it is the perfect place to both hang around, chill and relax in or to visit the lovely places within easy reach (ie. Cotswolds, Stratford Upon Avon)…in fact we always were in a dilemma when having to choose between both options! The accommodation is modern, well equipped with a very high standard of cleanliness. One side of the Garden House has a seating area and overlooks the main garden towards the owners house and on the opposite side is another garden area with seating and parasols, which is totally private and a real sun trap. As mentioned in another review, photographs don’t really do it all justice. The owner, Levie is really lovely and couldn’t have done more to make our stay so enjoyable, right from our welcome with Cappuccino and cake through to the same for our departure. She was always on hand if needed without being at all obtrusive. We will certainly be going back in the non-too distant future!

Levie I have to say must be the warmest and most sincere host I have ever met and nothing was too much trouble for her. She met us outside the property late on the Friday evening and ensured we were settled in and happy with everything.
