“We would not book this property ...”
We would not book this property again for a party of eight adults. There was only a four foot bed in one of the double rooms, this is not acceptable when it was not stated on the particulars, please make sure the particulars are altered for future people. The seating in the living room although stating it only seated six, the chaise long was very uncomfortable for two people to sit on. The kitchen was not equipped for eight adults, mish mash of glasses, no milk jug not enough crockery when using dishwasher. There was not a mirror in a couple of the bedrooms which would have been useful when there was a house full of people. We had problems with the heating and it would have been helpful if the Isolation switch had been noted in the booklet and a note adjacent to it on the wall. There was also an unpleasant drain smell in the en suite and the downstairs toilet stopped flushing on the last day. The House was in a lovely friendly village walkable to the pubs and near plenty of attractions and it was a good place to see in the New year with friends.
