  • "Stayed for a week in May with sister, mum, dad and husband."

Mum needs a wheelchair but managed around the cottage fine. It was an easy place to settle in to, a real home from home. The view accross the fields at the back of the cottage was very peaceful. Showers were great, beds super comfy and everything we needed for the week was there. Owners Heidi and Richard live next door but were very discreet and available if we needed them. We'd definitely return to the area and to the cottage.

  • "A lovely cottage which had everything that we could want."

The owners were very friendly and welcoming, providing us with all the information we would need. We are unable to fault anything and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this cottage without any hesitation.

  • "Great little property and exceptionally well maintained and clean."

It was a perfect size for the two of us. I hadn’t realised it had 3 bedrooms when I booked it. The upstairs rooms have sloping ceilings, so you need to watch your head in places. We chose the larger of the two double bedrooms for that reason. I picked the location based on what we wanted to do for our week away and it didn’t disappoint. The main room has double doors that lead into a small garden with a patio area and a nice view over the open fields. The weather was not warm enough to sit out there, but I can imagine it would be great to have a meal there on warmer days.

  • "Superb cottage."

Sadly I tested positive for Covid just before the holiday so couldn't go, but my friends were able to visit and had a great time. They said Arosfa has good quality fittings and furnishings and plenty of equipment. It was clean and very comfortable. It is ideally located for visiting several National Trust properties and they highly recommend it.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback Property Owner

Lovely downstairs rooms and garden with comfortable furniture. The extendable dining table was very useful. Clean accommodation. Parking on site. However we did find the low ceilings upstairs a bit of the problem, especially in the bathroom.

  • "Great weekend for three in this lovely property."

Walking distance from the village with bakers, cafe, convenience store and a pub and takeaways. Sainsburys and COOP a short drive. Lovely welcome from owner Heidi. Milk in the fridge. Scrupulously clean and comfortable. We used the downstairs single and the upstairs larger bedroom so that we had a bathroom each. Comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. Cosy and comfortable settee for watching a nice large tv. Wifi good. Two NT properties in close distance. Lovely place. We will be back on another occasion. Thank you

  • "Best holiday cottage we've ever stayed at."

... by far. This was our second stay at Arosfa and it was exactly how we remembered. Lovely living area, comfy sofas, very well equipped kitchen etc. Nothing have been overlooked, you can tell how much time and thought has been put into the cottage by the owners. The beds are so good (we did have some nice lay-ins!), great quality bedding and towels. The owners are very friendly and nearby if you have any issues. The village has a couple of shops and take aways within a few minutes walk. Only 10 minutes drive to Stratford and also very well placed for the Cotswolds. The owners really have done this cottage the right way, there is nothing I could suggest that would make it any better. We will definitely be back if our travels bring us back to the area. Highly recommended.

It is spacious with a lovely outlook over the fields at the back. It was great to meet the owners who were on hand should we have needed anything and they gave us ideas on where to visit. It is well placed for visiting Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and Coventry to name a few. Wellesbourne has plenty of shops and the Kings Head is well worth a visit for Sunday lunch.

The location was perfect for many different days out, and the property itself was a real home from home. Everything you could possibly need was provided, and the furnishings and standard of accommodation were first class. Heidi and Richard were super, their help was greatly appreciated when we needed it.

Ideal for family holidays. The cottage having 2 shower rooms was perfect. Views from lounge area where beautiful . Outside space was perfect as was the garden furniture. A lot of thought has been put into the cottage to make it an ideal place to stay. There were some great places to visit in the surrounding areas we didn’t want to leave we were so relaxed. Would we go back in a heartbeat.

  • "Arosfa is a great little holiday cottage."

The hosts are really friendly and helpful. The cottage is clean, ample sized for a young family of five. There was not much that could be added in the cottage to make our stay any better - kids plastic plates and an egg cup.! The beds and reclining sofas were very comfortable, the showers were powerful, the outside space and furniture were just right, the kitchen was very well kitted out and the washing matching, fridge and freezer were a welcome addition with young toddlers. The location is great for exploring the local area; Stratford-on-Avon, Leamington Spa are close and there are more than enough days out within a ten mile radius to keep a young family entertained for a week - you will need a car. The village shops/takeaways/Pub are within walking distance (<800M) and are good. I would recommend, and if we go back to this area of the UK again I would definitely look at the availability of Arosfa.

  • "We loved the cottage and the owners."

We would definitely recommend to our friends! The only thing that we would suggest for the Sykes website is that there is a photograph showing a lawned garden. That would have been idea for our baby to play on, so we were slightly thrown when we arrived but thankfully there was room inside.

Parking for 2 cars which was handy for us as we were travelling from North & South to meet for a long awaited holiday. Arosfa did not disappoint. From the minute we walked through the door we were impressed with the standard of everything in the cottage. We had everything we could have possibly needed for a home away from home, it was spotless and you can tell that Heidi & Richard have put lots of thought into making sure their guests have a great stay. Very relaxing time for us, spent a lot of time sitting out in the garden with a G&T admiring the view. Still close enough to visit lots of places which just adds to the many reasons to choose Arosfa for your holiday. We’ll certainly be going back!

  • "We have just returned from a week at Arosfa and can’t wait to return."

If your considering booking a holiday here, just do it. Location wise, the cottage is perfect for Stratford, the cotswolds, Oxford and Bicester Village etc. Bourton-on-the-Water is highly recommended for a visit and it was lovely to see Stratford without the hundreds of tour coaches. When you walk into the cottage you first notice how new and clean everything is. It’s obvious the owners have really put a lot of thought and care into the choices for the cottage and the result is a very comfy place to stay. The beds were high quality and made you want to have a sleep in! Well equipped kitchen and lounge area looking over the fields at the back. There really isn’t anything else you could want. The garden is lovely to sit out for breakfast. The owner, Heidi, is lovely. Excellent communication before we arrived made it a lot easier. They live next door, but apart from sharing a driveway, you wouldn’t notice at all. The cottage is so peaceful. I would highly recommend Arosfa to anyone.
