  • "We had a lovely stay at the Pool House."

Everything has been thought about and furniture, fixtures, utensils etc are all great quality. The owners gave us a warm welcome and were on hand should we have needed anything (we didn’t) while also affording us our privacy. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Loved every minute!"

Me and my group of friends visited last weekend and would recommend The Pool House to anyone! A beautiful place on an incredible estate. The hosts are excellent and always there if you need them- but we also felt like we had our own space as the pool house is segregated from the main house. Overall we were made up with our stay and would 100000% come back! Thank you!

Thank you Josh for such a great review. We’re pleased you had such a great stay and you were a pleasure to host. Property Owner

  • "I cannot fault the Poolhouse."

It was everything we had hoped and more. Luxury furnishings, comfortable and immaculately clean. The layout was perfect for the break we had planned. Quality time with friends and family was easy in this open plan kitchen, lounge and games area. The teenagers loved the mezzanine level and the bedrooms were all beautiful and comfortable. There was even a bar to sit at when playing pool, it made it feel like an evening out when staying in. The hosts were welcoming and had supplied everything we could possibly need. I wouldn’t think twice about recommending this place!

Thank you Gemma for such an amazing review it means a lot to us as we pride ourselves in offering a first rate stay. It was a pleasure to host you. Property Owner

Recently stayed for a week's staycation and found the property and surrounding areas amazing. All facilities listed in the description of the property were as described. Walks in the nearby countryside were all scenic and Worcester centre was an easy walk away. Would highly recommend this destination to anyone wanting a break away. Not forgetting the gorgeous Nellie and Archie who my family adored for the whole week. Missing them loads. (They are Tracy's dogs by the way) !!

The owners were so friendly and helpful and even stocked the fridge with some goodies. The information folder came in very handy and we enjoyed several meals from local takeaways and restaurants. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept as is the house itself. We would 100% recommend staying here.

About the location

CLAINES

Droitwich Spa 4.7 miles; Kidderminster 12.9 miles; Stratford-upon-Avon 25.7 miles

Nestled on the banks of the River Severn on the outskirts of Worcester lies the small village of Claines. The village takes its name from the Claines Parish prior, which was originally part of the area many years ago. Within the village there is a famous pub, The Mug House, which is one of only two pubs in a churchyard in England. There are also a handful of independent shops, two convenience stores and a farm shop selling local produce. The nearby town of Droitwich Spa offers a greater choice of amenities and attractions including the Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings and Aztec Adventure water sports activity centre, plus several well-establish festivals which run throughout the year. Additionally, the village is set at the heart of England, meaning that it has great links to Birmingham, Worcester and well as the Shakespeare Country of Straford-Upon-Avon.
