    Beautiful house,wonderful location,owner was extremely helpful.It would be good if there were brochures of local amenities and as we had grandchildren possibly board games,especially if the weather wasn't good.Apart from that we would recommend Chirkenhill Farm and will visit again.

  • "The property was very homely and spacious for the six of us."

    The Beds were extremely comfortable and having an ensuite to each room was a bonus. Tea/coffee facilities in each room was a lovely touch. Location was great and local Chinese takeaway recommended. Could have done with a few hi ball glass tumblers, and more dinner plates and mugs for six people, but that's minor detail. We had such a lovely relaxing time, visited lots of National Trust Properties and were not too far from the Cotswolds which we love. We recommend this property and Sarah was lovely too.

  • "Had a most memorable and wonderful weekend at Chirkenhill, the property was very clean and the facilities were excellent."

    Everywhere was warm and cosy especially the sitting room, bedrooms were comfortable although the mattresses were a bit to soft(personal preference) We felt the kitchen was a bit small and the pictures of the same a little deceptive, but even with this in mind it won't stop us from booking again. I can highly recommend.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Chirkenhill Farm during the last week of September."

    Two couples traveling from Cornwall and Suffolk. Sarah was so welcoming. The items left for our first day's breakfast were amazing. The lemon drizzle cake she left for our arrival, also went down very well with a cuppa after traveling 3 hours a piece. The cottage was in a great location to wander into the village and also central to go off exploring. We went to Worcester, Stratford and West Midlands Safari park. The cottage itself was very homely and had everything we needed, other than an ice cube tray, which Sarah quickly remedied. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Views were amazing. My only suggestion would be, although there is a tumble drier, a rotary airer outside would be nice, although I'm sure we could of used Sarah's washing line if wed of wanted. Would definitely return again and would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you.

Ledbury 7 miles; Worcester 10 miles; Hereford 23 miles.

The beautiful Worcestershire town of Malvern dates back to the Bronze Age and is situated on the eastern side of the dramatic Malvern Hills. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Malvern Hills form a 9-mile range of ancient rock, which offers 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways with natural springs and long distance views in all directions. The town holds antiques fairs, WI country markets, farmers’ markets and many auctions throughout the year, as well as the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. Malvern has individual shops, cafes, galleries, restaurants, a luxurious spa and it’s own micro brewery. It is also just a short drive from the Three Counties Showground which hosts regular events most notably RHS Malvern (May), The Royal Three Counties Show (June) and the Malvern Autumn Show (September). The town is the home of the Morgan car which makes this area popular with motoring enthusiasts. The Malvern Theatre welcomes productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company. The more energetic can try many outdoor activities including high ropes, climbing and abseiling.
