  • "Very well maintained and clean property."

The gift basket was very thoughtful especially treats for the dog. Sally was very charming and helpful.

  • "In every respect an excellent place to stay."

All equipment top class with no annoying lack. Plenty of space in a building set in its own piece of land in the country. A bountiful welcoming pack. The hosts were very helpful and had obviously worked hard to establish a well thought out barn. Would honestly recommend this as a holiday destination.

  • "Fantastic Barn, extremely comfortable, well presented, VERY quiet area."

Everything we needed was available ! Welcoming and Friendly owners were very helpful with guidance on walks, shopping, pubs etc... Our Cocker Spaniel Milo was reluctant to leave having enjoyed 10 acres of private Orchard and Woodland. Wonderful walks close by, beautiful villages and people. We had an excellent holiday - just what we needed.

There if you need anything but at a distance. The small touches were what made this special. The homemade welcome gifts from the neighbours was a nice touch. The are area has lots of interest and some lovely pubs.

  • "We’ve just returned from a week at Monarch Barn and friends where staying at Lunnon Barn next door."

As a family with two children 14 & 10 and a dog, the property was perfect. The enclosed fields, picnic area and fire pit made our time there as we could go out for the day then return for walks, games and toasting marshmallows. The property is equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. We found plenty to do with in driving distance, West Midlands Safari Park, Stourport & Stratford-upon-Avon, Wyre Forest. A few places to eat locally but the kitchen is so well equipped we preferred staying in. We would definitely return. Thank you to Sally for making our stay perfect.

The house itself has a great view from all rooms. The property is not overlooked, Wonderfully equipped, the interior was super modern and clean. The property is very well equipped indeed with a large comfortable settee and an armchair, large television and very comfortable beds. The welcome pack of Teas, milk, sugar and eggs plus a pack of shortbread, cookies and locally sourced Cider and Ale was very welcoming upon arrival. You could not ask more from this property, it gives you everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Everything has been carefully thought of in providing you with an uncomplicated stay at Monarch Barn. Our stay was a most pleasant one. • "What can I say, what a beautiful place to spend a week - the barn and the area."

And so quiet! The meadows are lovely to walk/picnic in and we enjoyed an evening toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The barn was immaculate, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The lock-up shed was a good bonus for bikes etc. We had our 12 year old and 8 year old with us so made the most of the local area. We went to Go Ape, Aztec water park, the safari park, cycling in the Malvern Hills (hard work!), and kayaking on the Severn river. Definitely enough to keep us occupied! Sally is lovely and very helpful if required.

Very clean and in a beautiful setting, so tranquil but within easy reach of a very nice pub, The Chequers, which has a very good menu and we would highly recommend. The owner of the Barn is friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Monarchs Barn and would have no hesitation in recommending it for a break in this part of the country.

  • "Monarchs Barn far exceeded our expectations!"

The place was spotless & had everything you needed, along with some lovely, thoughtful finishing touches! Sally was very friendly and helpful - providing wood, paper & matches for the fire pit and details on the many local walks. The location was great for walks, including refreshments at either cafes, farm shops or pubs along the way. The barn is surrounded by 2/3 fields (all part of the property) where we played cricket & flew a kite, & our dog was able to wander. A small area of woodland next to the barn would be perfect for children to build dens in - if only our children had been a bit younger! (Sally actually has den building kits for you to use!)
