  • "Really lovely barn conversion."

Great location very quiet and peaceful. Well equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable. Great for our dog with 10 acres to explore from the door. Sally was lovely and checked we had everything we wanted then left us to it. welcome pack was very good this with homemade biscuits, marmalade & even some treats for our dog. We have been to roughly 3 holiday cottages a year for the last 20 years and this is in the top 3. Highly recommended.

Lovely barn conversion. Lovely owners who live on site and are there to help/answer any questions and come over and say hello. Beds lovely and comfy. Very clean considering there was mud every where outside! One thing we did think would be a good idea some sort of boot store outside due to the mud! But we used to just sweep and use the brush and pan to get rid of the surface dirt to stop it walking into the bedrooms but that's us. Overall defo 5 Star

High quality fittings and amenities. Kitchen stocked with everything you needed, well thought out. Host was easily accessible and welcoming. Fields were wonderful to take our 4 month baby for walks on, also easy for us weary parents. Travel cot and a mattress were provided and fitted into room with space around it. Electric charger was easy to access and host was able to help with our questions.

  • "Monarch barn is set in beautiful countryside in a quiet and peaceful location."

If you have a dog it’s perfect as there is direct access to plenty of open fields behind the barn and a footpath leads from the front of the property. The barn is very clean, comfortable and has everything you’ll need for your stay. The local cafe is excellent for breakfast and the nearby farm shop has a great selection of plants at very reasonable prices, so worth a visit if you need to stock your garden. If you enjoy walking I can recommend the Abberley circular walk and Hartlebury Common. We enjoyed lunch after our walk on the common at Hartlebuy Castle. We particularly liked the welcome pack Sally provided, which had lovely, personal touches. Sally was very welcoming and replied very quickly to my emails when I had a couple of questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Monarch barn.

Sally is a great host, very welcoming and knowledgeable with suggestions for places to visit. Was invited to and attended the village fare and met other people from the village. Lots of space to utilise outside with blackberries, damsons, sloes and crackers apples all growing wild, I had to remind myself I am not a jam maker...The property itself is lovely and of a very high standard, with comfortable beds with great sheets, great showers, brilliant wi-fi and comfy sofas. I can't recommend it highly enough and am already planning a next visit. I recommend this accommodation highly and without reservation.

The surrounding fields were great for our dog all accessible straight out the door, very peaceful. My only criticism would be no windows downstairs in bedroom, therefore very warm I wouldn't be comfortable opening doors at night and no fresh air for dog in downstairs room as no windows to open at night

The location was great for walks, including refreshments at either cafes, farm shops or pubs along the way. The barn is surrounded by 2/3 fields (all part of the property) where we played cricket & flew a kite, & our dog was able to wander. A small area of woodland next to the barn would be perfect for children to build dens in - if only our children had been a bit younger! (Sally actually has den building kits for you to use!)
