  • "Quiet Waters Cottage was a peaceful haven for our stay."

It provided comfortable accommodation which was spotlessly clean. The bathrooms and the kitchen are modern. All the essentials and more were provided. The seating in the living room might prove a bit cramped for 6 adults but there are plenty of outside seating options and additional space in the summer house to make up for this. The garden was a real bonus. The location of the property is excellent for exploring the Causeway Coast as well as for trips to Belfast, Londonderry and Lough Neagh.

  • "We stayed at Quiet Waters Cottage for 1week at the end of July."

There were 3 Adults, 1child and our 2 dogs. It was perfect! Exactly as described, spotlessly clean, loads of space and excellent facilities. The cottage literally has everything you need and is dog friendly. The communication from Bill the owner was excellent prior to arrival. The weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t make use of the BBQ, fire pit and beautiful garden but that didn’t ruin our stay. Its location was perfect for exploring the north coast and all its beauty as well as reliving some childhood adventures. Barry’s is now Curry’s but the ghost train is exactly the same

So glad you enjoyed your stay Property Owner

  • "A beautiful holiday cottage."

Four of us stayed for 2 weeks and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The cottage was well equipped and we loved the extra accommodation of the summerhouse and bbq area. Beautiful garden space too! Well done Bill and Anne, give yourselves a well earned pat on the back! The cottage is so conveniently positioned for the beautiful sights of Northern Ireland. The causeway coast is breathtaking. Titanic Experience in Belfast was amazing as was the hop on hop off open bus top tour of Belfast which was very informative and poignant. Irish bars were very atmospheric and the Irish are such friendly people. Many thanks for a wonderful stay and welcome!

  • "An excellent break and cottage worthy of its 5 stars."

A fantastic welcome pack (unexpected). Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful without being at all intrusive. 2 miles out of Coleraine so we got a taxi to the rail station and visited Derry - Londonderry. Lovely train journey through beautiful scenery. An ideal base for so many points of interest. We couldn’t have been more comfortable and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Cottage to anyone.

About the location

COLERAINE

Portstewart 5.7 miles; Portrush 6.6 miles; Derry 30.4 miles; Belfast 52.2.

Coleraine is the principal town on the Causeway Coast. Situated on the banks of the River Bann, it boasts an attractive pedestrian area with award winning floral displays. Soaked in history, with charm and character, the town offers a unique mix of old and new. One of the least celebrated, but most fascinating features about Coleraine is Mountsandel Wood (BT52 1TL). This Mesolithic site is believed to have been inhabited from as long ago as 7700- 7400BC. Visitors to Mountsandel Wood can enjoy a circular walk within the woodland and there is a commanding view of the town from the summit of Mountsandel Fort, which is thought to date to the Anglo-Norman period. Coleraine is close to the bustling towns of Portrush and Portstewart (known as The Triangle), both with busy nightlife. The incredible city of Derry/Londonderry is also within easy driving distance.
