  • "I cannot recommend the Willow Tree Farm House enough!"

This place checks every box whether you are a family with kids, or a group of people - Location, comfort, spacious, tremendous views, and to top it off, phenomenal hosts. When we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful welcome basket with different snacks, and bakery items from one of the local businesses in the area. Paddy walked us through the home and insisted that if we need anything to reach out to him. Location and space was very important to us as this was our first trip home as a family of 4, and did not know what to expect with 2 young kids (3 ½ & 6 months) with the time change, and very little sleep on a plane home. My family lives in Newry so being less than 10 minutes from everyone was ideal as we wanted to be close to them. Also the space with younger kids so needed to have them both in separate rooms. The four bedrooms worked out perfect to have the extra room in case a family member wanted to stay for the night. The house had added features that worked for us – Wifi, washer & dryer, pack & play for our youngest, family/board games, and boxes of toys for younger kids. My 3 year olds highlight of the trip was getting to meet the baby lambs in the farm attached to the property. Paddy went out of his way to bring us around the farm making our daughters trip. She still talks about the baby lambs in Ireland to this day! We cannot thank Paddy & Fiona enough for their hospitality and creating a memorable experience for me and my family. I look forward to coming back and staying again for hopefully many more years to come! Wishing you both a fantastic 2024 and hope to see you again soon!

Hi Gareth, Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are delighted you and the family had a great time and enjoyed your stay at Willow Tree Farm House and the farm. We look forward to seeing you all again. Many Thanks Patrick, Fiona and Family Willow Tree Farm House Property Owner

The property is on a farm with fields on 2 sides. A huge kitchen with farmhouse table and all modern appliances.with a utility room . Large lounge with tv .fair size bedrooms with double beds.We would have preferred king size beds .We were a party of 4 and used the en suite bedroom and the one opposite.which were satisfactory. The owners Paddy and Fiona were very friendly and helpful. With a large welcome basket ,bread and milk in the fridge.Bonus in the holiday was a new calf born and running about.

  • "Under an hour from Dublin!"

!!! This property and the hosts are an absolute gem! We arrived to a beautiful welcome package of treats, the property itself was clean and very well presented. So cosy, and felt like a home away from home. We traveled all over Ireland for 8weeks and this was hands down the best value and our favourite stay. The beds are comfortable, enough fridge space, an excellent laundry with new appliances, huge fridge and well maintained showers that had excellent pressure. The hosts are also very nice people who checked in on us through our stay. The property is only 10 minutes to major shopping centre and town. We highly recommend this property A+++ we will definitely stay again.
