  • "Annie's place is nestled in the heart of the Irish countryside offering spectacular views of Crosslieve Mountain and Slievebrack."

The house itself is originally an older building which has undergone considerable renovation and has been updated and modernised in recent years. Although still retaining much of its quaint character, inside the house offers everything you need for your stay including fresh towels/bedding and well stocked kitchen appliances. The welcome pack of bread butter jam & biscuits was a lovely touch, and very much appreciated following our long journey (as were the fresh flowers which made the place very homely). We loved reading about Annie and family, and the history of the house in the welcome pack. Although a bit of a rocky road in parts, we enjoyed evening walks on the country lane leading to the house, and the night sky is truly a sight to behold from the grounds of the house. All in all, we had a lovely stay at Annie's place and would recommend this holiday home as a great base to explore the hidden gem that is South Armagh and the surrounding countryside : )

Great location. Some facilities need small repairs like bathroom sink. Would be great if property owner could provide more toilet paper and dishwasher liquid. Thank you

A great place if you just want to relax, or are looking for a good base to explore the many attractions of this part of the country, close to beaches and towns. The owners are very friendly, and we were very glad of the welcome pack for a cuppa on our arrival.

  • "Fabulous property and location which gave great access to our intended locations to visit both north and south of the border, the welcome pack was great and comprehensive to our needs and the property was clean and well presented."

The owners were on hand to assist should it be needed and extremely friendly but not over the top. Our dog was welcome and locality excellent for walks. An absolutely stress free break all round.

  • "A very lovely cottage with beautiful views in a nice quiet area just outside of Crossmaglen."

In the village itself is a very nice shop Mc Entees which daily serve meals including the Sunday roast to take away, very nice!. As a consequence, we didn't cook any meals at all with the exception of one cooked breakfast. the owner and staff were all very friendly and by day two we were well known. This is our 2nd 5star holiday with Sykes this year and we would love to go back to Annies Place in the future after the dust has settled with the world agenda. From this holiday we achieved exactly what was needed in these uncertain (for many) times.

!! Beautiful and quiet location close to the Muckno Park and Slieve Gullion. Bungalow is very specious, warm, freshly decorated and has everything needed for self catering family holiday. Our toddler loved running around the house and outside without the risk of traffic. Will definitely be returning!
