.... The only thing was ,maybe another fridge in the back room, only 5 of us stayed, but when we invited our family over for tea,we made food which couldn't fit in the small fridge alone!... And we couldn't work out how the fly's were coming in? So many

The banana loaf was delicious and we appreciated finding milk in the fridge too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and, all things being equal, we'd love to come back to Goose Cottage in future. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

The cottage was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the sheep, cattle and beautiful view across the valley looking West, and felt lucky to spot a small herd of deer and some pheasants. Such a lovely location. We hope to return.

  • "Goose Cottage was fabulous accommodation."

It was in a lovely quiet location and very well equipped for cooking and relaxing. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. I slept in one of the twin rooms which was really spacious, with plenty of storage, comfy beds and a great shower. Our communication with the property managers prior to our stay was efficient and welcoming, and we were left a lovely welcome pack of eggs and cake! It is definitely a place we will return to next time we come to Northern Ireland!

Plenty of wood for log fires in the evening. Home-made cake in arrival was a lovely touch. We booked the cottage for our eldest son's wedding and it was the perfect accommodation for precious family time!

  • "Perfect house, so spacious, definitely recommend this house as a base for exploring the beautiful locality."

House was spotlessly clean, presses full of basic necessity’s e.g. bin bags, tin foil, kitchen paper. This was such a good addition to an already great experience in the house. The fresh eggs, beautiful baked bread, milk and butter in the fridge was very much appreciated. I will definitely be back and will recommend to my friends if traveling in that area.

  • "A lovely cottage in Northern Ireland in the countryside near Armagh."

We arrived late and found a cake, milk and other items left for us. Ideal for larger families with 4 en-suite bathrooms. Very clean and stocked with good variety of cooking equipment, towels and linen and outdoor BBQ. Staff attentive when light broke. We used this as a base to explore parts of Northern Ireland we haven't been to and had a lovely holiday. Cottage is certainly worth considering.

  • "Great vale accomodation near my family allowing a semi return to normality after everything in the last year."

The place looked great and was well kept when we arrived. Having a fruit cake and little welcome card didn't hurt either. We look forward to coming back in the future.

  • "Incredibly peaceful setting surrounded by sheep who quietly chew the grass - and you can hear them because there is so little noise around."

We have a dog who is used to long walks off lead and it was challenging to find that (partly due to COVID restrictions on local places and partly because surrounding fields have livestock in). We hoped for a quiet retreat in a nice cottage, set in beautiful countryside - and it is exactly that. Any questions we had were answered very quickly and thoroughly. Thank you.

This will not put us of as goose cottage is our home away from home and mistakes can happen. We cannot wait to return and will be booking again soon

Everything was spotless and well laid out. The range of crockery, utensils, pots & pans supplied was above what you would expect to find in a holiday rental. Welcome package of homemade brown bread, free range eggs, butter, jam, milk was a lovely surprise, they even included some doggy treats for our fur baby! Will definitely be returning as soon as we can
