Website pictures don’t do this place justice, one needs to see it in all its glory. Book in drawing room has all the information you need (Wexford houses) on this property and other historical houses in Wexford. I do hope future quests, treat this wonderful house with the lovely care it deserves. Just one thing to protect beds and pillows from stains, invest in pillows and bed protectors. This place a real credit to Susan & Jonathan, bringing the house back to its full glory. We all had a very special time here and will definitely return. Enjoy enjoy Ann London 17/4/22

  • "A real slice of heaven!"

House is beautiful and the gardens with river and tennis courts were a real bonus for the children who had hours of fun exploring and playing. The house was warm and comfortable with all the mod cons you would expect and many extras my daughter loved the coffee machine! And a fully stocked library. We had a slight glitch with the WiFi and within 20 minutes had Someone come to the house to sort it out. Fabulous base to explore Wexford and Wicklow will definitely be returning.

  • "We've just arrived home from a week in the wonderful Carley's Bridge."

Where do I start? The house is exquisite and spotlessly clean. Beautiful period features combine with gorgeous mid century pieces. They work perfectly together. Loads of nooks and crannies to read the vast range of books in the library, play a game and listen to some music. The house is filled with lots of modern features that make the stay so easy. Google Home, a Quooker tap, Nespresso machine. There were some lovely touches on arrival. Delicious brownies, home baked bread, milk and a bottle of wine. The children loved the tennis court, fishing in the river, and going up the back field to watch the sunsets. Incredible. Lots of wildlife and friendly neighours too! Beaches are only 30 minutes away. I would love to keep this a secret for myself but I can't! We will definitely be back.

  • "Had a lovely stay at Carley’s Bridge House in December."

The host was super accommodating and supportive during our stay. The house was spotless, toasty warm, full of all mod cons, & there was plenty of space for us. We had so much fun in the garden & by the river and really enjoyed cooking with the Stanley. The house has so much charm & personality. Susie left us some lovely treats which were really appreciated. Plus she had a cot & high chair available which helped us manage our space in the car. The little touches were great, like the wellies left by the door for guests’ use. The house was decorated for Xmas which was really thoughtful & made it feel festive. The solid fuel stoves in the two sitting rooms were lovely to sit by & easy to get up and running, plus some wood was provided to get started which was great as we arrived late of an evening & without fuel. The books and board games and toys were appreciated to keep us entertained. I could go on for hours about how lovely the place was and how much we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again.
