  • "Lovely setting, great communication and welcome."

Candidly a week was enough as you do need a car and a fair drive to do most things. Not a criticism just an honest observation. Do walk to the pub though, lovely owner and good beer.

  • "I had a lovely, relaxing time."

I only wish it could have been longer so that I could have explored the area more. The Lodge is spacious and comfortably furnished with wonderful views and easy access to the garden. Donal is very welcoming and helpful.

  • "The lodge at Minmore mews was really lovely and very comfortable."

It was a bit out of the way but we had a car to travel around, it was just used as a base. Donal and John were very friendly and helpful, great hosts nothing was a bother to them

  • "Outside area and grounds were beautiful and well kept but accomodation was very run down."

Photos did not reflect how tatty furnishings were. The most disappointing thing was not the condition of furnishings but the fact the place was dirty. There were cobwebs everywhere, the shower drains were clogged up with hairs and gunk from past occupants, kitchen units and handles were sticky. Considering cost definitely not value for money. Would not recommend.

Yet, its location is ideal - within an hours drive are so many interesting and fun places to visit and see. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, the hosts were very helpful and friendly. We will be back.

The worst of everything is the dirty inside. I had to clean the kitchen and bathrooms to can use them. The place is very beautiful and the owner is nice person and very helpful.

  • "We received a very warm welcome from John, Mary and Donal."

The ‘Lodge’ was ideal and very spacious. The stove was especially welcome at this time of year. It was very cosy and the outdoor space and gardens were great for stretching Coopers legs early in the morning and last thing at night.

  • "This cottage was outstanding."

Perfect place, wonderful views, easy access to many places. But the most important thing is the wonderful welcome you receive from John and Donal. They make you feel at home and they have time for conversation and to point you to good places to visit..... Pure Irish charm and it's wonderful.
