  • "Accommodation was unfussy and homely."

The owners of the property were thoughtful and extremely helpful…….above and beyond providing help and support with a sick dog. Donal’s love of his home is evident in how he has planned seating to admire the views and how he encouraged us to walk on his property. Despite a poorly dog we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Loft.

  • "We had a very enjoyable holiday and the accommodation was excellent."

Donal was only too happy to help us and provided us with useful information on where to go, eat out etc. The accommodation was in lovely surroundings. I would recommend this property to my friends if they were going to Ireland.

  • "We had a lovely 2 week break at The Loft, Minmore."

On arrival Donal was welcoming, showed us around and supplied a list of places to go, restaurants and takeaways (nothing on his list disappointed!) The Loft was spotless, everything we expected, rustic farmhouse character with really modern bathroom and en-suite, the grounds are great! Our children (2girls & a dog) had the run of the place, feeding the chickens, hide and seek etc. Donal the host was great, Co.Wicklow is great (so much to explore and do!) looking forward to returning soon.

Great setting with beautiful views, the gardens were beautiful and very well maintained, the facilities on site were also fantastic. We even had fresh eggs delivered to us from Donal which made our breakfast even more delicious. We would absolutely recommend Minmore Mews and look forward to returning next year.

  • "The cottage was in a stunning location and has such potential, the owner was courteous and friendly."

However the bathrooms were manky , a dire dungeon of mould, dirty grout and filthy toilet seats. We arrived while the cleaners were supposedly cleaning the” loft” but honestly it was very poor. A well equipped cottage though having all the mod cons and Donal can’t be responsible for the lack of tv Chanel’s and provides d v d on request. If he decorated and cleaned his property it would be a winner and a fabulous place for large family get togethers. Our own holiday was ruined by the lack of attention so I hope he takes our advice on board.

Hi Peter, Your feedback was appreciated and recieved. If felt very bad the day you left and took your comments to heart. The Loft was the first cottage renovated by my uncle about 25 years ago. As we have six cottages to keep up to date we probably should of gotten to the Loft sooner. We acknowledge that it has become dated and have completely refurbished both bathrooms this year. Our cleaners have an excellent reputation among our guests in general so I take responsibility there as it may be hard to have an old bathroom up to modern day standards. We hope that you can come back someday and see what we have done with the cottage since your stay. Thanks again Peter and I hope to see you again someday here at Minmore Mews Property Owner

  • "Really wonderful spot to stay - very relaxing and tranquil."

Our family of 4 stayed here and we really enjoyed the grounds - beautiful hills, sheep, and historic/ charming buildings. The hosts, John and Donal, were wonderful - they gave us tours of the property and recommendations for hikes and spots to visit locally. We took a wonderful hike through a forest that had oak trees that were over 600 years old based on their recommendation. If you're looking for a peaceful place to recharge - look no further!
