What a fabulous cottage in a great location for us!

What a fabulous cottage in a great location for us! Terry the owner was lovely nothing was too much trouble. The garden is ideal for children and pets (next time we will bring the dogs) The drive was big enough to accommodate 4 cars and gates could be closed to keep children in lol, very child friendly with high chair, cot and child gate provided. 2 lovely downstairs bedrooms for the older generation and the bathroom has a jacuzzi! Will be back in October to see the family.

About the location

Miltown Malbay 1.5 miles; Ennis 20 miles.

The village of Spanish Point is situated on the west coast of County Clare in Ireland and takes its name from the Spanish who died there in 1588, when many ships of the Spanish Armada were wrecked during the stormy weather. Today the village consists of many holiday homes, two fine hotels, a lovely beach, which is popular for swimmers and surfers alike, and a nine-hole golf course, which is one of the oldest courses in Ireland and offers wonderful views of the rugged coastline. The small town of Miltown Malbay is 1.5 miles away, offering a selection of shops and pubs, while the seaside town of Lahinch is also close by, offering great surfing opportunities. Visit the Cliffs of Moher, north of Lahinch and also Doolin, which offer superb views of the North Atlantic and the Aran Islands in clear weather, or travel further afield to Clare's County town of Ennis, which boasts unusual shops, bars, restaurants and a lively Irish music scene.
