Reviewed by Won4.6★Aug 2017 "The cottage was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable." The location is beautiful and we loved the views over the estuary from the kitchen and patio. The owners were friendly and met us on arrival to explain how things worked and to give us advice about where to go in the area. The beach was further away than we expected - my husband jogged there and it took him 20 minutes. But it was very easy to drive to Kilkee beach which was gorgeous. Although the village of Cross itself is small, it is easy to get from there to all parts of the Loop Head peninsula and we really enjoyed being a bit off the main tourist track. It is such a beautiful part of the country - we will definitely be back and my children have already asked to visit the same cottage again as they made friends with the neighbour's children and dog. They also loved picking and eating vegetables from the plot in the garden. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday.
