Sitting on an established estate, on the outskirts of the village of Doonbeg, County Clare, is this charming, detached home, 29 Church Field.

Just a short drive away from a long, sandy beach and offering a garden for alfresco dining in the summer months, this single-storey property is ideal for both families and friends.

Be greeted by off-road parking before stepping inside to discover the entrance hallway with tiled floors and pine doorways.

Locate the open-plan living space; here you can sink into the sofa with a cup of tea as the TV plays your favourite shows.

When stomachs start to rumble, conjure a home-cooked meal in the well-appointed kitchen, with an electric oven and hob to assist you.

Settle down at the dining table to enjoy mealtimes as a family or if the sun is shining, head out onto the large lawn and savour a cold beverage.

As the evening cools, retire inside and make use of the handy utility room to wash and dry your holiday clothes, ensuring that you don't run out of outfits!

The village of Doonbeg (meaning small fort) in County Clare grew up around the remains of Doonbeg Castle, which was built in the 16th century.
