"The cottage was spacious with five bedrooms."
There were a few oddities like a microwave waaaay up high, and very low water pressure meaning the shower just stopped if someone ran a tap elsewhere. I wasn't keen on the stairs - beautifully hand crafted logs but steep, and uneven edges! It was Ok though, we had one of the downstairs bedrooms and our teenager had the upstairs. We had to keep our dog on the lead when outside as the garden area was not enclosed, which was less convenient. The farm gate and front gates were both the kind she could have just got under or through, and the front gates seemed to be access to o the farm too, so we didn't like to close them. The dog liked saying hello to the donkeys and goats next door though. The cottage had a great would burning stove, was v cosy in the evenings. No WiFi, as advertised, but the Chinese cafe in town has WiFi so that wasn't an issue. A very short walk to the harbour, pub and well stocked Spar - the cottage is in a great location for access to Kinvara and the Wild Atlantic Way. Hot water was a bit unreliable, to non existent at one point. Front door lock needs fixing/replacing. Fireproof glove needs replacing too, has holes in, not ideal when adding logs to a hot stove! Quiet location, rooks in the trees, cows and calves in the farm outside the windows. Hard floors throughout which was nice, especially with a dog. Whole place is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Overall it was a great location, I'd just recommend a few fixes to the owner as above. Garden area was ok, be better if it could be securely enclosed so you could just let the dog out for a wee as needed. Overall good!

"This property is amazing."
Five proper double bedrooms, a lovely log burner and comfortable for ten people easily. The sight of cows, donkeys, goats and very friendly dog brought a smile to face each day. Walking distance to local amenities. Not great for a toddler as large step between kitchen and lounge accommodation, but did not spoil our stay too much but it is something to give thought to if you do have a toddler. Only downside, the food left in cupboards, eg salt,pepper,oil, spices, etc ...been there so long. Housekeeping should have cleared it long before our stay. House problems eg plumbing, electrics etc. One phonecall and he us on the case. Problem reported and sorted. Thank you. Stay was lovely, farm animals too just a bit of Housekeeping needs help. Would book again.

"Lovely old cottage but with all the modern extras."
Loved the underfloor heating really useful for our dog. 10 minute walk into the very friendly village of Kinvara. This has everything you need. Loved the little craft shop, cafes, pubs, and we had a beautiful fish meal at The Pier restaurant as a special treat. We loved this location, hope to return here next February.

"We were 6 in a family and this is a good place for a large group."
Very clean. Walking distance to town, although walking on the narrow road is safer during the day. No wi-fi was rough. The thin, small and limited number of towels were pathetic. Getting the right temp for the showers was tricky. Loved saying good morning to the donkeys, goats, dog and cow. Decent place at a fair price.

"A great location and a very comfortable house."
Close to the town and a short drive from the Burren. Plenty of room in the house and Rover (the friendliest dog on the planet) lives next door. Would have benefited from WiFi on site, but most cafés nearby had a good service.

"No indication from site page that property is part of a working farm."
Property is in need of some TLC. Soft furnishings (bedding and towels) are well used.
Needs a good clean, especially bathrooms, we bought cleaning products to clean bathrooms before use.
Ovens also in need of cleaning.
Pictures show microwave is up high, reality too high for 5ft 2in to use without standing on a chair.
One positive, owner delivered good supply of logs during our stay.
property is ideal for walking into Kinvarra.

"There isn't any information in the property details that tells us that there is a 252mm step between the kitchen and lounge/sitting area."
This step prevented my disabled wife reaching the lounge or kitchen without journeying out of the front door and traversing to the the back door to enter the kitchen or vice versa. As she cannot walk more than a few steps then using her wheel chair was the only way to access the kitchen from the master bedroom or lounge to get to the kitchen. If we had been told about the step then we could have taken extra mobility aids to help with the problem.

Cottage has ample room and parking. Plumbing could use some upkeep, and a clothes dryer would be helpful since getting everything dry was problematic, but otherwise a fine place for a big group such as ours.

A quick jaunt to Galway or Cliffs of Moher. Walking distance to restaurants/ pubs. Live entertainment from farm animals. Would definitely recommend this place for a larger group- we had 8.

"Lovely cottage on the edge of a lovely town."
Just a five minute walk to Kinvara. The Well House was roomier than expected. We were seven adults and found the location and accommodations perfectly suited our needs.
The house itself is on a beautiful farm and the cows and sheep were a welcomed touch of country life. Less than half mile away from the Burren Nature Sanctuary

"THE ONLY NEGATIVE ASPECT WAS THE LACK OF TOWELS IN THE COTTAGE."
WE BOOKED FOR ALMOST 3 WEEKS, FOR 4 ADULTS, AND THERE WERE ONLY 4 TOWELS SUPPLIED. WITH NO CLOTHES DRYER IT WAS NOT REALLY POSSIBLE TO WASH THE TOWELS AND HAVE THEM DRY FOR THE NEXT MORNING!
OTHER THAN THAT, COTTAGE WAS MUCH BETTER THAN WE COULD HAVE ANTICIPATED.

"The Well House is an easy walk to the center of town."
The cottage itself was breathtaking! We were entertained by the donkeys, cows, sheep and the goat. The farm dog became our friend too. Great location for exploring the Burren and close to Galway City. Wonderful experience.

Much larger inside than the photos suggest thanks to a well designed and well crafted extension at the rear of the original cottage. Very clean and well equipped with good towels and a new frying pan! Comfortable beds and furniture. A real home from home.

"The cottage made an ideal base for visiting the local area of Galway and County."
We stayed for 4 days visiting the sights of the West.
All facilities were spot on and Micheal ensured that we were happy with how to use the heating systems.
The log burner provides a great centre piece to a wonderfully clean presented cottage.
People may moan and groan that there is no WiFi provided, but this wasn't a problem for ourselves.
I would also warn people that the local border collie is very friendly, but enjoys a good rolling around in the adjoining cow fields.

"The cottage was even nicer than the photos and very close to the village."
Even though the cottage looks small, it was really spacious and 10 of us fitted easily. An area to consider improving is the couches. There were 10 of us and only seating for 4, 6 at a squash.
Kitchen was well equipped, consider getting a wooden spoon and a better frying pan though!
Towels definitely need to be replaced.
However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and compliment Michael on his hospitality.
