    Très beau cottage, à quelques pas du lac, endroit très calme.

    Très beau cottage, à quelques pas du lac, endroit très calme. logement spacieux et agréable, rien ne manquait (sauf la Wifi peut etre :( ), tous pareil pour la propriétaire Mrs Maureen a été tres sympa avec nous et très discrète en meme temps.

A comfortable detached cottage in a residential area in the centre of the village of Mountshannon, on the edge of Lough Derg, near Scarriff in County Clare.

This cosy Mountshannon cottage is ideal for families, couples or friends, with lough views, comfy accommodation and an open fire in the sitting room.

MOUNTSHANNON, COUNTY CLARE

Scarriff 5 miles.

Mountshannon is a lovely village on the shores of Lough Derg in County Clare, with pubs, a shop and a hotel. Mountshannon has a small harbour facing south onto the Lough, and a safe family bathing area, as well as a small but well-maintained park with lough views. There is easy access to Inish Cealtra, or Holy Island, from the village, and tours around the island are provided. On Inish Cealtra are church ruins, stone crosses, and a cemetery which is still in use. The more romantic visitors to Inish Cealtra may care to pledge their love by holding hands through the hole in the stone and vowing to be true. 5 miles away is Scarriff, a large village with great angling. Fishing, walking and cycling are all on offer throughout the area, and nearby Lough Derg is popular for fishing, boating and sailing.
