Follow the meandering driveway to find a large, sloped garden bounded by hedges and blending seamlessly into the natural environment.

Inside, the cottage has traditional furnishings, rustic charm, and is beautifully appointed with timber ceilings, waxed pine furniture, wool carpets, and rugs throughout.

Be welcomed into the living/dining room to unwind by the warmth of the Morso woodburning stove, watch TV with German and French channels available, and prepare the dining table ready for dinner.

The historic town is known for the ruins of Garrykennedy Castle Harbour, built in the 15th century, and is a popular spot for tourists to park their boats and explore the scenic area with a playground, contemporary harbour, and multiple barbecue spots. Renowned for its traditional food, and live music on selected nights during the season, you can dine at the award-winning Larkins restaurant, followed by a drink at Ciss Ryan's pub, and the convenience store in Portroe just south of Garrykennedy provides the self-catering essentials.
