Geraldine the owner is so kind and friendly, always at hand to give advise. Bridge view is situated on the edge of Scarriff which itself is the gateway to Loch Derg ,Mountshannon and Portumna. This area of East Clare is very pleasing to the eye with lake views and stunning green farmland You can find plenty of good quality eateries in the pubs or restaurants situated in the surrounding villages. Limerick is only a 30 min drive as is Ennis, the coast is only a further 20 mins, Lahinch is worth a look. A stay at Bridge View is a must if you are an angler, the Scarriff river is only a ten second walk and I have had nice sized brown trout from it. Bridge View offers a fully functional kitchen if you want to eat your catch!! We will be back again soon.
