“Ballyblood Lodge is a wonderful place to stay, the accommodation is very clean and well cared for.”

It's spacious and the hot tub is a very good plus. The area around the lodge is very quiet, closet shops around 3km away. We have obviously stayed during the CV19 pandemic, although ROI is quieter due to restrictions we still had a lovely stay.

“Perfect”

Stayed at Bollywood as a family of 6 with 2 granddaughters and it was simply stunning , the lodge has loads of space both inside and out ( the gardens are just beautiful so well maintained) you can tell a lot of love and time has gone into them .Inside is just beautiful lovely cosy beds with plenty of space , we cooked loads of amazing meals in the super kitchen that had everything and more.Tricia is a lovely caring lady who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs , nothing was too much trouble and she was always at hand for advise , we loved it so much we have booked again for october , if I could give this lodge 10* I would

“First of all would like to say what a lovely, helpful, accommodating lady Tricia was nothing was too much trouble and she was always smiling.”

we absolutely loved this cottage, having stayed in a fair few while holidaying with my son and daughter in law and family it's by far the best ever. The place has loads of space , immaculately clean and everything you could think of was un the cottage, plenty if towels for 6 of us and a great supply if cutlery and tableware which we find a huge bonus, beds were super comfy and bedrooms spacious too . The outside of this place is huge and gardens are so well maintained, hot tub was super clean and checked every day on the dot , would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful place and we were sad to leave Thank you so much Tricia for a perfect holiday

“FANTASTIC”

This was one of the TOP 3 trips of a lifetime. The owner was FANTASTIC and the property was BEAUTIFUL. We had a lot of questions on what to do and where to go and Trish had the answer for every one of them. She even told us that she would have the local pub we wanted to visit come and pick us up and then bring us all home when we were ready. The locals were wonderful and we felt more like relatives then toiurists ! You can't ask for much more then we enjoyed staying here.

“Home away from Home”

Located in Tulla, Ireland, deep in the heartland of County Clare in a small village surrounded by tradition and sheer beauty Ballyblood Lodge is EXCELLENCE in EVERYTHING, from the accommodations that were spotless, to the wonderful people that run it. Only a short drive into Tulla for groceries or a meal and a few minutes away from PEPPERS PUB for traditional Irish Music on Wednesday and Sunday AND EVEN MORE AMAZING they pick you up and bring you home so you can thoroughly enjoy a meal, a drink or 3 and the entertainment. .

“Return visit, this time to Granny’s Cottage”

We visited the larger house several years ago and really enjoyed the stay with our three children. This time, with only one teenager with us, we booked Granny’s Cottage. Very comfortable, warm and well equipped. Lovely kitchen/ living room. Sauna was popular with our son after long walks. Tricia is a very friendly and helpful host. We love this area and will certainly return. I would love to stay in the spring as the garden is great - lovely outside seating area.

“Granny’s cottage.. owned by same owner”

We are stopping at granny’s cottage which is in the same grounds and has the same owner as Ballyblood lodge. Where do I start? The owner (Patrica).. Now I have been to Ireland many of times and I know that the hospitality is renowned.. but Patrica goes one step above!! We travelled through the night and she knew this and messaged us as soon as the cottage was ready (nearly four hours before check in time.) when we arrived at the cottage we was greeted by Patrica who went round and explained everything. The cottage was immaculately clean inside and out. The view from outside is stunning and private. The whole cottage is a credit to the owners. The beds where amazingly comfortable. We asked Patrica where we could buy a fan from as the Irish heatwave was uncomfortably to hot for our five month old baby and within five mins there was a knock on the door with Patrica holding a large fan for us. The freshly made scones and milk and butter was such a nice thought. We are well impressed. Matt, Claire, Andrew and Jessica.

“Excellent”

The lodge is huge and a really nice place to stay. Everywhere was clean and comfortable. The owners left us some home made scones and some essentials in the fridge for when we arrived which was a really nice touch. The location is good,perfect for some peace and quiet but not too far from Ennis,Limerick, Cliffs of Moher etc. Would definitely recommend staying here.

“Amazing beautiful peaceful place to stay”

This little gem is very accessible . It is so peaceful luxurious and wam . Plenty of places to see in Clare . The decor is fabulous and great to visit any time of year . The lodge is great and the cottage is looking equally as tempting . Will be back , highly recommended .

“Home away from home”

My husband and I were vacationing in Ireland with another couple and decided to make this lovely place our home away from home. We were definitely not disappointed at all. The facility was immaculate. Very large and lots of room. The bathrooms had great showers and toilets. The kitchen was fully equipped and the washer and dryer worked great. The Murphy's were wonderful hosts and helped us with any questions we had. They had some kitties that would meet us at the front gate every day that were very cheeky. One of the friends that was with us has really severe allergies and had no problems with pet dander or smoke as it was pet and smoke free. We highly recommend this lodge. It was in a beautiful area of Ireland with lots of places to go to from there.

“Perfect Lodge in an amazing location!”

We spent the last week at this amazing lodge, it is set up with everything you need to be a home away from home, excellent amenities such as washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc... The lodge was lovely and clean and each bedroom had its own wardrobe and plenty of space. The gorgeous garden was very spacious and had a hot tub which was very relaxing and ideal after sight seeing throughout the day! The lodge is situated in County Clare and is ideal for travelling to The Cliffs of Moher, Spanish Point, Father Teds house, and many more must see locations! We are the best Indian of our lives in a restaurant called Bonfire in Ennis approx 12 miles away! The owners are very friendly and on site if you need them, we could not fault our stay with them at all and would highly recommend to all.

“Another gem”

Just back from ballyblood lodge, had a lovely week despite the weather. Located in a quiet rural area but perfect base to discover Clare limerick and Galway. The house itself is fairly impressive, plenty of room, light and everything you'll need, bikes wellies even a miniature hurling pitch!! The hot tub is a real treat. The house is perfect if you just want to chill, party, entertain the kids, it's an all rounder. Anything you want to know about Clare hurling- ask Kevin. Cheers for the memories

“Wonderful lodge in a lovely part of the world”

Just back from a lovely week at ballybood lodge. The accommodation was fantastic with a beautifully equipped lodge with lots of great space inside and out. The hot tub was perfect and used every day. Owners were really nice and we really can't fault anything. Bikes were provided which was great as they can be expensive to hire for a family. Gas BBQ was also used on the wonderful patio area. Lovely part of Ireland too close to limerick and Galway within an hour. Cliffs of maher 45 mins away with a lovely stretch of coastline. All in all a definite recommendation. Thanks for a lovely week.
