  • "Great host, happy to take your through what the local area has to offer."

Perfectly situated just off Killarney national park and The Reeks; perfect for walking/hiking. Plenty of facilities at the cottage to ensure your stay is comfortable whatever the weather. Unfortunately, our negatives were cleansiness and clutter - the kitchen worktop was sticky when we arrived, and we dedicated a good part of our first day to resolving this. There was dust on just about everything: window sills, the bottles in the kitchens, units, books, photo frames, etc... We felt the cottage needed a good clean, but got the impression it was very much as the last occupants have left it. Wifi would have been nice to have had as standard, to allow us the ability to look-up the beautiful local area without the cost.

  • "This is a large cottage well stocked with what you need to cook and make the most of the kitchen area."

The living room furniture is comfortable as is the bed we slept in. The large garden and deck are pleasant with plenty of garden seats and room to sit out. It is very conveniently situated for the mountains and for Killarney town. The road is rather busy and noisy and not suitable for walking on as the traffic speed is high past the house.
