  • "The location of this property is exceptional."

    The property had also been renovated and was in better condition than the property images suggested on the website so, everything exceeded expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and i would definitely return for a visit.

  • "Radharc Na Mara I wish to lodge a formal complaint and make you aware of my disappointment with the accommodation I rented for a week."

    Nowhere on the website could I find that I needed to bring bin bags, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, and toilet rolls. Of the three showers only one works consistently. The mirrors in the bedrooms are too low to be of practical use. The towels are threadbare and the kitchen cupboards smell of mildew necessitating me having to wash crockery, cookware and saucepans before using. As you can appreciate I wished to spend my time enjoying the area and not time in the kitchen cleaning and driving a round trip of 7 miles to shops to buy supplies that one would expect to have been provided especially at the significant cost of the accommodation. I seek you immediate attention to compensate these issues.

  • "The location of the house is excellent as is the overall design of the property."

    The views of the sea and hills would be difficult to beat however that’s were the overall satisfaction of our stay in this property ends. When we arrived on the day the first job we had to do was wash all the cutlery and Delphi, plates bowls cups and mugs because of the extremely dirty condition. The cutlery drawer was very dirty with clumps of human hair in among the knives and forks. The bathrooms were also in a very bad condition which had to be cleaned. There was a problem with the electrics in the house. When my wife attempted to use the electric iron all the electrics in the property went off. We attempted to contact by phone the woman who looks after the property but were unsuccessful. I called several times by phone over a two day period but never received an answer. We managed to restore the electrics but could not use the iron. Someone arrived with a replacement later in the week. The washing machine was unable to be used because of a substantial leak of water. We were a party of four adults and four children the children’s ages ranging from 14 months to 10 years. To be without a washing machine for a party of this size for a week was totally unacceptable. The overall condition of the interior of the property was tired and needs updating. The bedding was in poor condition and needs brought up to today’s standards. I assume the owner of the property pays to have the house looked after to leave it ready for new guests arriving this did not happen. It very disappointing that we had a very bad experience with the very poor standard of the conditions of the interior. The location and layout of the property is excellent and with a inspection plan that is effective this property could be one of the best in the area.

  • "We Had a wonderful stay at Radharc Na Mara just outside Waterville, County Kerry."

    Accommodation is located in a wonderful scenic spot and short drive from Waterville overlooking Skellig Michael. The owner (Pat) was very contactable and any small problems were sorted by a quick call, Local Taxis were very helpful, local restaurants were wonderful, Waterville is a must for any family. We would have no hesitation in recommending this House for a family and it accepts pets also which is a bonus for us. Many thanks guys and we will be back at some stage. Paul Gault

Cahersiveen 10 miles; Dingle 61 miles; Killarney 50 miles.

Nestled between Ballinskelligs Bay and Lough Currane, sits Waterville, the premier coastal tourist centre on the Ring of Kerry. Surrounded by mountains and lakeland, Waterville also offers a fine sandy beach, two golf courses, one being a championship 18-hole course, a selection of restaurants and bars, as well as interesting archaeological remains. Enjoy walks along the wonderful Kerry Way, or angling and fishing on one of the area’s many excellent rivers or lakes. Take a boat trip to the Skellig Rocks, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy fabulous vistas across the bay, coupled with seeing one of Europe’s best-known and oldest monasteries.
